I like the steering wheel, but please debadge and paint the bottom. Would look a lot nore tastefull and not trying to be something else in my opinion
I've got a vxr front bumper for sale, primed up but it needs a bit of a rub down in places where the primer has reacted

Tsw wheels were massive in the 1990’s… Tsw alpines were the five spokes that everyone had on mk3/4 escorts, and the Tsw venoms were the stylish ones. They stuck out and I’m sure they were banned.
Tsw venoms where everywhere in the 90s too. Every max power magazine had at least two cars in there. I miss the 90s car scene.

you should paint the black plastic trim/lip on the front bumper aswell
Honestly I used to be all about black wheels on cars and dont get me wrong some do just suit them, but a decent set of silver wheels make some cars look way better. I just put a set of 18" golf gti wheels on my fabia and it looks so good!
Hopefully them red seats are still at looms they’d look nice in my dodge box . I thought you was gonna get a full xp kit but the side skirts are subtle and smart.. and the wheels are perfect

The backing plates are heated....Vauxhall owners obviously leave the heated mirrors on all year round, that's why the glass falls off and needs replacing....with the wrong size.....yours are heated, that's what the 2 wires are you plugged in

Those are the TSW Mugellos by the look of them. The name should actually be stamped on the back of one of the spokes :)

Great video definitely think you should get rest of the xp kit (front and rear lip) and i may be wrong but them alloys do look a lot like the vauxhall xp2 alloys

Is the overall circumference of the new wheels the same as your old wheels? If not your Speedo will be reading wrong

Needs lowering 40mm , and still wont catch as the vxr comes with 19s as standard and lower than a standard astra

They changed the mirror design on them. Someone ordered the earlier mirror size.

Those wheels look like TSW Mugello's, I had a set on a Vauxhall Astra years ago (Late 90's)
You should take a stab at pushing the dent out in the door, would be interesting to see a first time try at that as I’ve always been tempted myself

If the wheels came of a vectra then why were you worried they wouldn’t fit on the Astra 🤔 aslong as it’s a 5 stud and not a 4 then there definitely wouldn’t be a problem. If they came from an insignia however they won’t fit
Stud paterns will definitely be the same because both Vauxhall but the offset isnt the same for every Vauxhall which would cause problems with rubbing on the strut and steering not turning to full lock

Vauxhall use all manner of wheel stud PCDs. For example, on the Astra J alone there are 3 different 5 stud patterns depending on which engine is in each model
@@simonbyrne1182 I’m talking about before the Astra J and insignia Vauxhalls. After that the changed and now owned by Peugeot so is what ever PCD’s they use
@@simonbyrne1182 wrong. The astra J and K is 5x105. The gtc is 5x115 same as the zafira tourer and insignia. First shape insignia was 5x120.

Hockenheim's were slightly different if you Google TSW Mugello's you will see the differences.
They are more like Hockenheim R. But as below they are neither. They are Mugello.

Not a huge fan of the look of a mk 5 astra in std form same as the mk2 astra unless it's a gsi or vxr it's a huge miss but it looks mint on those rims!

So you’ve gone from a tastefully modified Honda with genuine performance mods to chucking halfords crap onto a scrap car? I’m sure there’s a market for this content, but anyone who’s into k swapped Hondas isn’t arsed about tarted up scrap Astras.
In fairness though it's about content and budget. I understand what you mean but at least the wheels look good! It shows what fun can be had on a budget too
