Vomero 5 are popular all of a sudden cuz of New Balance, that’s why Nike is bringing back shoes that closely might remind people of NB like the Nike Mac Attack
Also bc shoetubers got samples and pushed it. That isnt bad, just factual that guys like seth are huge assets to Nike. If not for that strategy I doubt dunks would have ever had the recent run they did.

I swear by the Vomero 5s. They were my go-to shoes back in college for long days on campus. I remember seeing them in a soccer catalog with Manchester United wearing them as warm up shoes before they were released and thought I had to have them. And I still have the original wolf grey pair with blue midsole. For whatever reason, the comfort is out of this world. The style might not be for everyone but your feet are in heaven with these things.

I did get the oatmeal colorway. When the phase is over, ill still wear them like i do with SB and dunks since 2003
I got the ACW collab years ago for 120 bucks I like them so much I bought a back up and is still one of my most worn shoes since then
These are much better for all day comfort than the Invincible. The Invincible is far softer under foor but can get uncomfortable after standing or walking around all day. The Vomero 5 is a true "go to the zoo" sneaker like the New Balance 990v6.

Every single shoe looks a like nowadays, puma back in the 2008+ was original, good and they were full leather, the ferrari ones were awesome too. Shoes are like cars nowadays the only difference is the logo/badge
Yeezys were the only shoes that were somewhat different and new, they actually brought originality to the game.

It is the one of the most comfortable sneaker you’ll ever buy. I’m a older guy and it was my young co workers who inspire me to purchase them. Yes different colors and a light sneaker.

Ah, the shoe thay got me into nikes in the first place, back in like 2009...
Cuz i loved the grip when doing dumb stuff like trying parkour as a highschooler (team tempest was like, my go-to favorite youtube channel at the time, and that parkour show on G4TV was up there as one of my favorites) and they were comfortable as hell, and relatively low to the ground for the comfort (i suffered from a LOT of sprained ankles at the time)
for comfort it fine but for $160 material quality is meh
These look wide foot friendly. That toebox seems wider than most Nike shoes. I like this color way. Copping these Tuesday

The Zoom Vomero is like the Nike version of the New Balance 990 series.
It reminds me a lot of the adidas supernova cushion 7, which I have been loving lately. Definitely a slept on shoe. I like the vomero but resale is a little high right now.
I like this sneaker. I just feel the $160 price tag is a bit steep. It has old tech and upper materials are meh

This silhouette is sooo money!!! I couldn’t help but notice it looked like there was quite a bit of dead space in that toe box area? Anyone who owns these feel the same??
Yep I felt that. It felt like the toebox (dead space) was pressing on my toes. That's why I went a half size down and just removed the insole. Usually a size 8 but went with size 7.5 in these.
All the shoes out today are just repeats of the shoes we wore in the early 90s late 80s

I understand Seth retro games just hit different then the new stuff, sure the new stuff looks unreal and is hella fun but like sneakers retro games have the nostalgia that just hits different, like the Zelda song is iconic cuz it brings back memories

I pass on vomeros to save for air maxes. Vomeros will be something people will look back on as a phase in terms of lifestyle wear.
Got them in black and absolutely love mine , the crazy paneling and wild looks works well with my futuristic/ avant-garde styling very well !

I still want to pair but I don't know what size I would be... It just sucks that finding them in store is becoming impossible... I kind of wish I got a pair when they were not hyped and sitting on shelves at the Nike outlet a couple years ago

Happy I picked up on the lime green vomero 5s in 2019/2020. I did a video review telling all of UA-cam back then to pick up....but u know how it goes...most people don't think for themselves no more. They need to be told what to buy by superficial Hypebeast types lol. I bet u no air trainer 1s wasn't reviewed here...nor new balance 580...I rest my case. Those models are on discount now. Buy what you like tho.
Definitely NB vibes on this shoe. Especially the grey color way. Just copped the yellow pair. Perfect summer shoe for casual wear and street wear. Gonna need to get my hands on that grey pair
