« It was a last minute idea - I was traveling full speed around Switzerland to document a few magical practices, to integrate in a show I was doing 3 days later in Geneva. As I wanted to also record some music, and as I just discovered Raphael’s piano piece “Keemuun II” that got me entranced, I got in touch directly. He told me to pass by his place in the evening, in the charming town of Lucerne. I arrived extremely exhausted, slept on a couch a bit before preparing the microphones and movements. Once this was set, Raphael launched his fingers in his own exceptional repetitive gesture. Trance music on piano, hands in divine space. »
