Matthew 24
23Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25Behold, I have told you before.
26Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
@@bryanr4088 Jesus also said if you saw it coming at the door, then it is near. But He didn't said it specifically when He is coming because the Father only knows.
We always hear so many Christians and others quoting away at Jesus in Matthew 24, saying that "No man knoweth the day or hour," but they are unknowingly failing to rightly divide the word of God. What am I saying? That we can KNOW the day and hour regarding the rapture and Jesus' second coming? Yes, actually. Am I saying we know right now? No. We read in Revelation 3 something that kind of strikes me as odd. John reveals to us this:
Revelation 3:3
"3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee."
John uses multiple different conditional phrases while telling us what Jesus said. He tells us, "If we don't watch," insinuating that if we do watch, he won't come upon us as a thief, rather than him coming upon us as a thief if we aren't watching, and that we will know what hour he will come upon us IF we are watching.
We also hear similarly from Paul that we will not be overtaken as a thief in the night, assuming we watch.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-4
"But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief."
We hear from Jesus and receive clues of what it is we need to look for to understand and piece together the puzzle for the time frame of His return, by which we could gauge when the rapture might occur.
Matthew 24:32-34
"32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled."
Israel is the figurative fig tree in this parable. This parable tells us that the generation that sees Israel become a nation and prosper, we know Jesus' return is soon. This generation that sees these things will not pass away until all Jesus said in Matthew 24 is fulfilled at His second coming. What is it that determines the time of Jesus' return? Let's start in Isaiah 66.
Isaiah 66:8
"8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children."
Israel was "born" as a nation in one day May 14, 1948, fulfilling the Isaiah 66 prophecy. Now, the next question is, what is the length of a generation? Seeing as the generation that witnesses the rebirth will not pass away until Jesus returns at His second coming, it's a good bit of information to have. We recieve that answer in the Psalms.
Psalm 90:10
"10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away."
Threescore and ten is 70 years, fourscore is 80 years. 70 years is a generation, but if by reason of strength, it is 80 years. Israel was established as a nation 1948, plus 70 years is 2011, which has uneventfully come and gone. 1948 plus 80 years would be 2028. Assuming the Second Coming of Christ is in 2028, the rapture takes place before the 7-year Tribulation, which means that the rapture should happen before the end of 2021 at the latest. The Tribulation is God's wrath being poured out on the earth, which the church need not to endure and shall be saved from it.
1 Thessalonians 5:9-10
"9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him."
Revelation 3:10
"10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth."
Jesus, speaking to the churches (more specifically, to the church of Philadelphia), tells them that they will be kept from the hour of temptation which can also be rendered as "trial." He says that this trial shall come upon them that dwell upon the earth, insinuating that we, the church, shall not be part of it by any means. We hear similar phrasing in 1 Thessalonians.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
"16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
1 Thessalonians 5:3

Ultimately, we're left to conclude that we are living in the end times, last days or however you wish to call it and the time of knowing the Lord's return for His church is at hand.
Tribulations n persecution comes first before Our King of Glory n the RIGHTEOUS Judge returns. Weeping may endure the night but joy cometh in the morning.

The Feast days are typical and commemorative. They not only foreshadow the wilderness wanderings but they point to the work of the high priest that takes place in the courts above. It is on the 10th day of the seventh Hebrew month that the high priest stepped out of the temple. So it is with the Heavenly. The hour of the last prayer. Because they know it’s the last prayer it’ll be the sweetest prayer ever sent up from this earth.

I absolutely love all of these shadows and types that the Jewish scriptures reveal. They are beautiful pictures speaking of Christ our SAVIOR. We have Him sealed within us, the moment we simply believe the Gospel.

My wife, daughter and I are in lockdown in Melbourne Victoria. It is very restricted. However we have been in house isolation since early April, due to my Chronic Leukemia. My immunity is gone, so I'm very much at risk if I even catch a cold. It has been a difficult time physically since April. I have had 5 nights, on oxygen, in hospital with pneumonia and 3 rounds of chemotherapy too.
But this has been the one of the best times of refreshing from God, that I have ever experienced in my 34 years as a Christion.
Life is difficult but wonderful.
God is Amazing.
Kirsty we can rejoice now in the Hope of the Glory of God.
I have been very refreshed with the teaching on You Tube by a man named David Benjamin. He is a Free Grace teacher and I always feel uplifted, liberated and refreshed by his teachings.

I've been part of a community that celebrates these festivals. And I remember that Yom Teruah meant to "wake up!!". That is where the people during Ezra's time had an 'awakening'. This brings us to our senses about the truth when we have deceived ourselves. His work has to awaken us. This would be the prelude to Yom Kippur "day of atonement". This is where we enter communion with God when his word has awakened us where our deeds are judged as his word has revealed, and when received would bring about a penitent affliction of the soul, where we are suddenly made "contrite." (to be so sorry for what you have done, you never want to do that again.) You even mourn over the matter.

I pray for Israel as a nation because it is God's chosen nation. And for His people, as things are difficult, being the center of prophecy and the evil in this world against them. But mostly that somehow their hearts and minds are opened to see that Jesus Christ is the Messiah that they have been waiting for. Ironically, I grew up a Catholic in a Jewish neighborhood. The kids had no problem getting along. Sigh. All prophecy will be fulfilled but the hour is getting late.
So you pray to a blasphemous sinner instead of God.

When Jesus saw the people scattered in the countryside, He saw them not as rebellious people, but as sheep without a shepherd. He didn't see them as people who wanted to go astray, but who were scattered because they were hungry and had no shepherd.
You can see people for the profit or benefit they can offer you or you can choose to see them the way Jesus does and love them with the love of Christ.
The greatest of the Ten Commandments is, “Thou shalt love God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, all your strength,” but no one has been able to fulfill it except Jesus.
You cannot fulfill the law. The purpose of the law is to expose us and give us the knowledge of sin (Rom. 3:20). While we cannot love God with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind, and all our strength, Jesus chose to love us with all His heart, all His soul, all His mind, all His strength, and He died for us on the cross. The Bible says now we love God and we love one another because He first loved us (1 John 4:19).
THE FOCUS TODAY IS NOT ON YOUR LOVE FOR GOD (WHICH IS THE LAW) BUT ON HIS LOVE FOR YOU.
Friend, receive this word as the Lord loving you and reaching out to you. He is loving you today! When you open the Bible, remember your good Shepherd loving you and wanting to feed you with His words.
“To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
And he closed the book . . . ”
- Luke 4:19-20 KJV
“acceptable” - This is the Greek word “dektos” which refers to the acceptable, favorable year or age in which the free favors of God profusely abound. When Jesus declared this age of free favors, He was quoting from Isaiah 61. Right after He said this, He closed the book.
But if we look at Isaiah 61, where Jesus stopped reading was not where the sentence actually ended:
“To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God;”
- Isaiah 61:2 NKJV
Jesus deliberately did not read the portion about “the day of vengeance of our God.” His first coming was to bring grace, to bring the acceptable age of the Lord, the “dektos” age that we are in now. We are not in the day of vengeance. We are still in the favorable year of the Lord.
That is why today we must know how to rightly discern the Word so that we understand what is relevant to us now and what is not.
The only way for you to not experience these free favors of God is to not believe it. Today, change your mind (‘metanoia,’ that is, repent) and believe that God is loving you and not counting your sins against you. At the cross, a divine exchange took place-Jesus received our sin and became sin on our behalf that we might be made the righteousness of God in Christ. That's the gospel of Jesus Christ and the ministry of reconciliation.
“ . . . that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.”

When Jesus was on earth healing people, He never imputed their trespasses to them, called out their sin, or expected them to set their lives straight before He healed them (see Mark 6:56). The one time He called out someone’s sin before He healed the person was to say, “ . . . your sins are forgiven you . . . Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house” (see Matt. 9:2-6). Even though the people who came to Jesus for healing still had sin in their lives and they were all not yet born again, Jesus treated them as though their sins were not accounted to them and He healed them.
Healing is not only for believers but also for people who are not yet saved. Once people receive their healing, the goodness of God leads them to repentance.
God does not need to be reconciled to us; we are the ones who need to be reconciled to God. What stops people from being reconciled to God is them having an inaccurate opinion of Him, thinking that He is a hard God who is angry with them. But the truth is that God is waiting with His arms wide open, like the father waiting for the prodigal son to come home (see Luke 15:11-24).
Jesus has freely given you forgiveness and healing through the divine exchange
Grace is not cheap. By grace, we receive the blessings of God freely but they were bought at an immeasurably high price-the blood of Christ. Jesus paid for our salvation that includes the abundant life here on earth. It is free for us, but it cost Him everything.
Sometimes, one of the reasons people cannot receive healing is that they do not understand that they can freely receive it.
UNDERSTANDING THAT JESUS PAID FOR EVERY BLESSING AND WE CAN FREELY RECEIVE FROM HIM IS THE KEY TO LIVING THE WHOLE AND HOLY LIFE GOD INTENDED FOR US TO LIVE.
For example, when it comes to loving others generously, only those who have freely received can freely give. So if you do not believe you have received forgiveness of all your sins freely, you cannot forgive others freely either.

The apostle Paul wrote that under grace, we forgive because we have been forgiven. The motivation to forgive others has now changed. The focus is not on how you need to forgive but instead on how you have been forgiven.

“Reconciled” - It is the Greek phrase “kata allassō,” where “kata” means “down to the exact point” and “allassō” means “exchange” (as in the exchange of coins).
“Kata allassō” does not just refer to a reconciliation, but also a divine exchange. The Father loves you so much that He sent His Son who knew no sin to take your place and bear all the judgment that is due you. God made Jesus to be sin for you that you might become the righteousness of God in Him.

How can you say, with all your faults and failings, that you’re righteous? Apart from His actions, Jesus received our sins at the cross. In the same way, apart from your actions, you received His righteousness and are the righteousness of God in Christ.

Salvation is more than being saved from hell. God wants to bring heaven and the Holy Spirit into your life. You are the kingdom of heaven walking on earth, a mobile temple in whom the Holy Spirit dwells!

You need to understand that no amount of keeping the law can make you holy. Only the blood of Jesus can do that.
The devil then armed himself with the law to accuse and condemn man. Now, listen carefully to this: God didn’t give the law to arm the devil, but the devil, knowing that the law was against us, took advantage of it and has been using it as his weapon to further alienate us from God. That’s why when God nailed the law to the cross, He made a public spectacle of the devil and all the powers of darkness! Once the law was nailed to the cross of Jesus, God knew that the law no longer had the power to condemn us as long as we believed on Jesus. Therefore, when you know and believe that Jesus has fulfilled completely the righteous requirements of the law on our behalf, the devil cannot use the law to condemn you every time you fail.
Today, if the enemy uses the law to point out your sins, look to the cross of Jesus and reject the condemnation. You may say, “No one can blot out God’s handwriting.” Yes, you are right. No man can, but God can! And God did it righteously. My friend, you have been redeemed from the curse of the law. The devil and his crew have been disarmed. Hallelujah!
Refuse to subject yourself any longer to the old covenant system of the law. Don’t put the weapon of the law back into the devil’s hands. Every teaching that says, “You have to keep the law to be blessed by God,” is doing just that. Reject such legalistic teachings and rest in the truth of God’s disarmament and grace. The more you believe and embrace the truth of His grace, the more you are empowered to experience victory over your failings and challenges. This is how you reign, and when you reign, the devil doesn’t!

Righteousness-consciousness keeps you conscious of Jesus. Every time you speak it, you magnify the work of Jesus on the cross. So believe and speak the truth: “I am the righteousness of God in Christ.” Then, you cannot help but see the results of magnifying the Lord Jesus and His finished work!

If your life and eternity could forever be positively changed in 2 minutes, will you please consider this? When it comes to end times, we are not in the last days. We are in the last minutes. The Bible says we will not know the hour and day on which He will return, but that we will see the signs, and those signs will increase as we get closer. The Bible also talks about prophecies that will happen in the very last days. Those prophecies are taking place right now.

• Israel coming back together as a nation again in 1948-destroyed and Jews scattered across the world 2,000 years ago-never happened in world history, but the Bible said it would happen, and it did
• Sanhedrin-Jewish rabbis formed again as a group 2 years ago, after not being in existence for about 2,000 years
• Israel’s Third Temple being prepared to be rebuilt-the first two temples were destroyed, the last one about 2,000 years ago-bible said that the third temple would be rebuilt and that the antichrist would sit on the Temple Mount and declare himself the Messiah. The Sanhedrin and the Temple Institute in Israel are making preparations right now to get it started:
o The Red Heifer: another Bible prophecy-no red heifers for 2,000 years. • A couple of the Sanhedrin rabbis have claimed in the last few months that they are currently meeting with their Messiah (the Bible is clear that when the antichrist comes, the Jews will believe him to be their Messiah when he is in fact the antichrist, but they will not realize their mistake until 3 ½ years into the 7-year tribulation period, when the antichrist unleashes evil and torment and torture and death upon the people. The Bible talks about false messiah’s coming, but the fact that they are claiming to be meeting with him already shows it could actually be the antichrist
• The Jewish rabbis will be blowing the shofar (biblical horn) for the first time in nearly 2,000 years at the Temple Mount (where the Third Temple will be built) during the Feast of Trumpets (Sept 18-20 this year). Why is this significant? Because they are calling for the Messiah to come. The Bible does reference trumpets being blown before the rapture and at His coming. While this doesn’t mean the rapture will take place then, it does show that we are getting very, very close. Everything that is happening in Israel over the last couple of years and especially in the last 6 months has shown how close we are getting.
• Peace covenant or agreement. The Bible predicts that the nations around Israel will cry out “peace and security” before the “destruction” (the antichrist comes on the scene). Never before in history has Israel had peace with its neighbors. But things are moving fast. In September, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain, have signed peace deals with Israel. Trump says that there are likely more peace deals coming with other countries. Is this the peace deal that the Bible talks about immediately before the antichrist steps onto the scene? Maybe, maybe not. But it’s definitely paving the way, because the Bible says that the antichrist will come and strengthen these peace deals that are being made. However, these are not real peace deals. The Bible says that when these peace deals or covenant is made and strengthened, then destruction happens. Nations rise up to attack Israel, and the antichrist rules for 7 years during the Tribulation period. The Bible says to watch Jerusalem if you want to see what’s happening with end times!
• Watch end time videos on UA-cam over the last few months. Read what Christians are saying in the comments. The Lord is using all of these watchmen/women and putting the same urgency in their spirit. This is not a coincidence but is inspired from our Savior!
• The Bible says knowledge will increase in the end times. The internet has not been around very long, but the astronomical way that knowledge has increased in the last 30 years is nothing short of amazing.
And there is more.
So yes, we are more closer to the return of Jesus. We don’t know when, but likely in our lifetimes. Why is that? Because the Bible says that once end times events and prophecies are observed, everything would be completed before Christ’s Second Coming within one generation. Jesus said in Matthew @:
"Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.” Jesus’ point in His statement when you look at the context of the passage in the preceding verses is that the events of the end times will happen quickly. Once the signs of the end begin to be observed, the end is well on the way-the second coming and the judgment will occur within that last generation. Jesus reinforced this meaning with a parable in Matthew @-33: “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.”
But don’t worry! God hasn't given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. Your salvation is through your faith in Jesus Christ for the remission of all your sins. We are all sinners saved through grace by faith not by works that any man should boast.
So if you have accepted Christ as your Savior, you do not need to worry.
For those that haven’t, you need to know that if we disappear, it’s because we’ve been raptured out by God. No, aliens did not come and take us. 😊 We joke, because there will be a story told about why all the Christians are gone all of a sudden, and most people will believe the lies, because God said that in the last days, there would be a strong delusion. And those who are left behind will be forced to take the mark of the beast (666) in order to buy and sell and even survive. Those who do not take the mark of the beast in worship of the antichrist-Satan-will starve to death, be persecuted and tortured, and ultimately killed. Only those during this 7 year tribulation period before Christ’s return who refuse the mark of the beast will go to heaven. The rest will be judged by Christ when he returns 7 years later and sent to hell.
It is time to get our hearts right with God. We must repent, turn from our sins, claim Him as Lord, and tell others the good news.
