Mate love it, when I was a platoon sergeant I had a Greek section commander who used to take an espresso machine (you just chucked on a flame) out bush in six months the whole platoon was drinking espressos. Only problem was we couldn't use them in the jungle because the smell would compromise our position.
I disagree with not pouring along edges. I pour over coffee to saturate and swell the grinds to let them slow the flow of water and steep a bit longer, let it sit and pour the rest. poured coffee is the best. thanks guys. flat kit fits in every ruck!

I steep my medium grind for 5 minutes, then pour the (slurry) in the pourover filter. A hybrid of french press and pourover methods. It works flawless and consistent. Try it and become a hybrid method believer ! WORD !
