Psalm 126 - Amazed at God’s Work

- Psalm 126 is the seventh of a series of 15 psalms each with the title, A Song of Ascents. This song likely was composed after the exile, in wondrous gratitude for God’s restoration, and in prayer for a furtherance of that work.

Thanks for your exposition of these Psalms, currently studying the Psalms of ascent and your teaching has been a great help! It struck me in this Psalm, that part of Israel's call is to be a sign to the nation's that the one true God is their God the return of the captivity was a sign and continues to be today, of God's existence what a miracle that the scattered Jews are returning to their homeland and that indeed they even have a restored homeland! Praise God, continue to show your glory in Israel Lord!
Today is December 9, 2024. And on this day, let us pray for those in exile.
Amen.
Amen! The Lord has done Great things!
Praise God ❤Thank you Heavenly Father for your Son Lord Jesus and HolySpirit and this Ministry ✝️

Beautiful exposition of the Psalm
The Lord will indeed have a great triumphant return
Thank you Pastor Guzik. I am really encouraged by all your words about this Psalm. Especially they that sow in tears shall reap with joy! I sowed in tears for my Father and saw nothing and it seemed he died unsaved but by Faith I have sowed in tears and shall see my harvest of my Father in Heaven. I've also prayed for many others so haven't been too selfish. From June from Ireland. God bless you for your amazing amount of wonderful work.
God bless you June! Thanks so much for your kind words.

Hello Pastor Dave and blessings in Jesus! I have a question regarding the crucifixion of our Lord and Savior. When Jesus said Father why have you forsaken me. Did he say that because God turned away from Jesus?Because God cant look upon sin. Jesus took the sins of the world on himself. Was he separated from God at that moment?
David,
Thanks for your questions. This is a deep subject with many thoughts. May I direct you to the Enduring Word commentary where you can read some thoughts there? God bless you David. You can start read the commentary at verse 46.

Hello.
Respected pastor Dave.
In this Sam 126 .verse one and verse four ihave a big problem or confuse.
In one verse God bring back the captive of Israel from Babylon if so then why in verse four it's say O Lord bring us back from our captive.
Is this means they are in the second captive iam confuse
Some of the captives had been brought back to Jerusalem , but not all of them.
Check out the commentary on this for more information.
Blessings!
