God gave me this scripture " those that sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy" a day before my son got in trouble with the law. Its 2 years now and each day gets better! I am believing!
But that was written in a completely different situation. Matthew says that those who don't bear good fruit shall be cast into the fire. But nobody believes these things nowadays,
Lesa Schultz, the Father gave you a verse of great consolation for what was to come. I hope your son is making better choices. Keep praying for your son. The Father hears....
Such a beautiful commentary - the joys and sorrows of a farmer, praying for the unsaved loved ones, return of the captives, .... Oh, how beautiful it is to trust in the Lord our entire lives.
Did not realise that the psalm is a reassuring declaration / prediction. I’d always thought it was a reaction to a long awaited breakthrough. Thanks for your analysis,
Are you quite sure that the Babylonian captivity was "the most popular" ? I would have thought it was the worst ! But I have sung my own version of this psalm (search Somerset psalm) and I agree that which captivities they were doesn't really matter. I had written that before reading your interesting discourse. .
Indeed let us have trust in the Lord will make difference in our lives
Thank the Lord! He HAS done great things. We shall reap the joy of the Lord from our sown tears.🙌🏽✝️
So much victory to look forward to..
Hallelujah our eternal Joy is coming soon! Love you Jesus!

Great Teachings! Psalm 126 helps in seasons of sorrow. The beautiful plant is distracting. The backdrop can stand alone.
