i wonder if you can just do geometries well, like a red background platform with a pentagon and a square moving across from top to bottom, or some other such gen.
Oh dang missed it but playing around noticed nature, arial, or suddenly changes loves that word and super detailed prompts are key, I have been shocked at some of the amazing outputs. PS helps to review their guide amd like matt said more specific the better

Love your work Matt, always in awe of you guys, Gen 3 wise wouldnt pay for it currently just given its current state, appreciate they have running costs though, amazing tech regardless, definitely keeping an eye on it
Aye matt, hate to ask so late but deciding if i should buy it or not, are you able to describe a characters looks in detail and save the prompt as a preset and reuse the character?

@@kennyo673 this is what i always hear. I am skeptical that they can made much headway using the current architecture. Unless the AI can create some rudimentary understanding of reality I am afraid we will always have weird morphing and nonsensical artifacts no matter how much they try to improve.
UPDATE: Runway gave me a full refund and they were nice about it, I would gladly rejoin them once image-to-video is part of it. They were very nice and professional. ORIGINAL COMMENT: I paid for this assuming I could use MidJourney images to animate. It seems it's ONLY text prompts? I don't have any use t=for that, I want my money back. This is useless to me, I don't need a toy I can't control, I want to create professional video with specific characters, not some random pointless nothing videos. If you can't tell, I feel lied to by Runway.
goes without saying but it’s not a good idea to pay for anything in preorder, beta or early access these days. Not only a waste of money 99% of the time, but it also rewards bad behavior where generating hype with fake demos becomes more important than putting out a good product.
May have to give it a month or two to get that feature.
@@Leto2ndAtreides Yeah. I'll cancel it and maybe come back later, or maybe I'll just get a more expensive plan at Luma Labs Dream Machine. I will be much more careful in the future, like if Sora doesn't have an ability to use my own start image, I am not going to get it. All I can generate with this is B-Roll and I am not making features so I literally NEVER need B-Roll for either of my projects.
@@ares106 Yeah I had no way to test it without paying, and I foolishly jumped the gun. I was just saying to Leto that this also puts me off being excited about Sora. I might just get a better plan at Luma Labs and wait for the others to ACTUALLY get better than Luma. Yes, you are correct and this loss of $15 or whatever it was is teaching me a lesson that I won't forget.
@@ares106 I wrote to them asking for a refund and haven't used it at all. I'll wait till they respond, then probably cancel it. At that point, if I have to pay for it, I guess I'll try to use the credits up generating B-Roll but I don't have need for B-Roll to be honest. LOL if anyone needs B-Roll, I'll generate a tone of it for you for fifteen dollars LOL LOL LOL
