this is great. would love to see another one like this. or shorter, individual tutorials on each step. Great video, I've been using the mixer brush for FS but I'm going to give your way a try with the laso tool and gausion blur, seems to be alot quicker. I even like your method for local Dodge and Burn. Do you use the global method ever for contouring?
How do you export from there? Do you send it back to lightroom? Or export from photoshop? What are the export settings of you export from photoshop?
Hi just having a little trouble in the beginning stages. When I Apply image on the High layer and , change it to low, and the blending mode to subtract, the image just turns black even after the next step of changing High layer to linear light. Thanks any help is much appreciated

@@moniquehernandez3146 if I remember correctly, the fix was to set all of the parameters the same as the ones he has in that frame of the video. My defaults were different than whatever settings he had
Hello Fernando. U use gausian for skinsofteing. Do you prefer a differend method for closeup-shots?
If you switched to Nikon your post processing would be much quicker.
My friend has a Nikon mirrorless but he was recording with it that day. Maybe I'll use it on the next session we do together.
Totally agree. I have a Nikon Z6II and Canon R5 and Nikon Raw files are much easier to color grade than my Canon Raw files🤷🏾♂️
Nice good Tutorial, I have to convert all the techniques to Affinity Photos, so watch this then need to work how to do it in the other app! 🤦♂️
Sorry about that. I've never used Affinity or I would make a tutorial with that program as well.
@@fjhphoto don't need to be sorry, just your app of choice. I like affinity photo, use it on the Ipad, so use the pen to do the adjustments. Just feels more natural to work with.
Those color adjustment look pretty hard to do
