Personally, I think the upgrade system is fine and there’s only 2 things I don’t like about it so far. The first one being upgrades have 25% of costing 60% less. That’s unnecessary rng imo and doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. The second thing is that you should be awarded points equal to the amount of stars you gained (like in the first 3 games). Other than that everything else seems really good. Especially the upgrade paths to the right, it makes it so that both heroes and towers get stronger as the level progresses. The only time we’ve seen something like this is in KR1, where the hero leveling system was different. All in all, it’s honestly fine and people are blowing it out of proportion
@lavandalavada4228 what I meant is, It’s not clearly related to the towers as it was in the first 3 games. There is one tab designated for towers 1 for reinforcement The other 2 are related to heroes But then like you said, those 2 also have some effect on the towers.
I played all games of the kingdom rush series on PC And all I can say is that alliance is the most enjoyable game out of them all before frontiers Alliance basically has all the interesting parts from previous games and is unique because of 2 heroes usable at a time Alliance isnt just good for the gameplay but also for quality, it may not be as good as frontiers but it's still very good
I have played almost 70% of it and I agree with you. It has good parts from different games and the enemies are quite strong. In hard mode, it is not easy to win unlike origins and vengeance.
@@Kingdom-Rush_kali but of course, once you complete the campaign you get the most op heroes that make those levels actually doable (like in vengeance) And I'm also waiting for more levels in the future cuz 16 is too little
I bought the game on steam, and I am already halfway through. What I can say is the game brought some new gimmicks, and brought some of krv gimmicks back. I think it depends on the taste and may be the age of people. I agree the animation and visuals are updated and there is plenty of details in the map. But I am a person who still like the old style simple animation in kR1 and KRF. But I am sure many people will prefer the new one as we all have different views 😁👍🏽
Ppl are overhyping this game too much. Looks like a glorified vengeance. Too much not unique rng upgrades Skill Tree looking meh except for the reforciments. Towers lack utlity abilities and are just underwhelming. Enemy wave pacing as seen in the live stream look meh just like in vengeance. So much towers....seems rly nice customaziablity but I hardly find a good contrast on different towers. It feels not balanced and well thought out and there is already potential meta strats. Don't take my thoughts personaly, just enjoy the game. IM STILL PLAYING IT. Just saying my thoughts.... (Dont start a fkn war here, u vengeance fanbois.)

I don’t think it is pay to win. Most of Ironhide games are well balanced so that we don’t need any paid heroes or towers to win. It’s more pay for fun 😂

I really like your view point. It’s almost similar to what I think. I am not a big fan of infinite modes, but I like the desert one in Frontiers I still play it sometimes 😂
The similarity to vengeance is manikh in the tabs. The game play is different. And there are some cameos from Veznan at the end of certain stages those are really good 😁😂

I’m playing this game, more and more as I go on it just keeps getting a better and better. Mix of origins and the first kr, lovin it.

It all depends on preferences of people in my opinion.
Some people like the old style.
Some like the new.
And some are okay with both. 😂
