  • PART 1 ... whilst they preparing for another Wigtown Book Festival Event on Thursday 1st October 2009, I got the chance whilst it was quiet to just walk around the delightful Bladnoch Distillery and soak-up the atmosphere (but not the Whisky !)

Thank you dear Ralfy... Bladnoch 10 has become my favourite lowland malt. I appreciate your help and thoughts in getting to know this fine distillery. Kind regards from Milan Italy 🇮🇹 Ciao 👋 S.

I'm really looking forward to trying Bladnoch for the first time. For those of us who are far away and can't make the trip, it really helps to connect with the distillery through videos like you've made and makes the whisky even more special!

Thoroughly enjoyed this walk through after buying and pouring through every page of your book. Interesting that an Australian bloke has since bought the distillery. I hope it does not lose its charm and that the quality of its spirits does not diminish.

Such a massive shame all of it went away recently. I do hope somebody comes and rescues this lovely place.

How can I contact you privately? I am related to a previous owner of the distillery

I wonder if those Jimmy hats come in MacMillan tartan? If my family roots are Scottish, being a Bell, I and my dad would be members of Clan MacMillan.

ralfydotcom I am a reverend, I write sermons and articles all the time, meaning I know that writing isn’t a walk in the park. I was hestitant at the idea of this book, but happy I started reading.
