They probably do it at the start of every expac. Players will always be better at finding broken mechanics than the devs themselves... somehow.
Sin rogue here. Garrotte is insane when they are below 35% it Crits more than ferals rip.

Youre losing a huge amount of DPS(at least 10%) by using Exsanguinate with Deathmark btw, you never want to exsang with deathmark unless youre 100% sure theyre just gonna die within the first 5 seconds because exsang also cuts the duration of Deathmark which is bad. In real games against good players that arent going to fall over in the opener youre gonna want to garrote>ER>rupture(can throw in a spike too if you want)>exsanguinate wait 5 sec for exsang to end THEN Deathmark>reapply garrote/rupture>kidney>shiv>kingsbane>CB envenom etc. The good thing about this too is that a lot of people are going to see you exsanguinate and probably bait out their trinket/ defensives before you even use your real burst which is probably gonna mean theres little to no chance they live Mark+kingsbane. Try it out when the season starts.

You probably figured out by now but you can use mark to put up SnD while stealthed. So your opener is cheap garrote rupture. THEN you can kidney whenever you need to and thanks to internal bleeding its not a massive damage loss compared to envenom, and you even get the energy back (Assuming Internal bleeding still procs venomous wounds)
I also prefer Sepsis for the extra cheapshots it gives us BUT theres something to be said about spreading the pressure around with bonespike and getting extra envenoms instead.

Outlaw with GSW and HO is actually cracked in arena. Every button you press does at least 30k damage. I was ending 3s matches that lasted well under a minute with 1.8 mil damage

how you using kings bane when you dont have it equipped in the talent tree?
Couple things
1. Play outlaw and see what think.
2. I swear, anytime there's a dh on the other team they always see invis at start.
The dh ran right by you and didn't even use see invis.
Been using this sort of build since pre patch, dont get it nerfed now…

I feel like the skillcap for rogue doubled this expansion with the way their talent free introduces so many potential cooldowns and abilities into the burst windows. Assas literally has about 20 damage buttons before you even get into all their utility and defensives!
Thats why you play war or dh.

I don't talent into exsang anymore that nerf was too harsh. I still like dtb the most, the burst window with envenom is pretty nuts and you don't need to pool your shivs for kingsbane.

doesnt sepsis do more damage, and give a combo point, and have fatter insta with a fatter dot attatched?
the draw towards bone spike is the ability to spike multiple people, from a range, and with a slightly less energy cost I thought
I prefer sepsis burst for sure.
Yeah, but you only have one chance every 1.5min to use it properly, bone spike has alot more utility and use all over imo. Sepsis is hella fun though, the sound is so satisfying. Also, with kingsbane and improved garrote in your deathmark duration, sepsis isn't really needed to kill with 2x shiv doing 40% healing reduction.

Rogue having 8yd melee range triggers me so much. Already has strong mobility and crazy control. 8yd melee range makes stopping them and getting away from them even more obnoxious and impossible.

Destruction lock is by far the best class in the game rn. Got soul fire gritting for 120k constantly w 60-80k chaos bolts, incarcerate crit for 20-50k

Spear dealing 97k. shadow priest dots ticking 35k. rogue oneshotting everything. dh dealing burst-dps for like a minute straight, 120k+ eleblasts. the game is at a risky point, we need some balancing if we dont want a clown fiesta.

@@jeverett1738 ive played assassination only since 2009. It was unplayable in early Shadowlands until it was buffed 3 times because it was also sagging in PVE charts.
I made it work in the arena and on Dalaran Gamings 5v5 1v1 duels 🙃

Well pre nerf rogue was something else. The whole tree got shifted now. Your build wan't bad, it wasn't optimal at that time. Now it is probably one of the best.

@@bicboy17 I was playing almost the same build except i wasnt running kyrian went into sealed fate and some other points, no bottom pick on the rogue tree. Hadn't even touched sub since the dragonflight drop, and what was even crazier was when exsang was a 45 second CD... confused people around the nerf but it was fking nasty (still is). I was also running sepsis though.

Isn't he using deathmark wrong? It doubles the garrotes and ruptures you apply after using it. So shouldnt he be opening with Mark before Garrote Rupture to double the damage?

I decided at the start of this xpac to swap from maining DK to maining rogue since I thought it'd be fun for pvp. I would like to know this build.
RN I just do something similar to his aoe build, but with crimson tempest to add another bleed to a large group all at once and it gives high damage in bgs
But I'd like to know a higher burst assassin build for open world pvp
@@apensalesman if you want bursty assa, im currently doing kingsbane + improved garrote and its doing great all over. Kingsbane -> deathmark does like 140k dmg through it's duration, and that's only kingsbane alone. Stack internal bleeding, rupture, garrote and bone spikes on top of that and you can imagine the dmg output 😄

This was my build before Pikaboo sold me Sub with the Palumor one shot build. 😴
I think that ASS rogue is far more fun then Sub rogue, just because of how much dmg garotte ticks for :)
Sub still 1 shots way faster you wouldn't survive kidney vs sub
Sure but the better players you go against they're going to survive the burst and then you're basically stuck waiting. Meanwhile assas can put out consistent pressure and has almost as good a burst window, if not better. Just has ramp time.

sub burst is easier for sure ass burst takes a few more seconds but its like double the damage which helps against tank classes or locks

While he is doing like nuts damage (prob not healable without all cds ) the warlock lives after 800 damage done. Not onky does warlocks heal as hell but has massive dmg and shields
Warlock does not have massive DMG. 1/3 of assa rn.
Warlock is easy to beat. Just wait for shields to end and then kick on shadow. Dead in seconds

Pikaboo is amazing, no doubt about that, but this kind of shit is why you dont bother with wow until season2 or later. Blizzard seems intent on using the live servers as pvp beta tests. The kind of damage some classes are doing is unfun and unfair and shows that they did literally ZERO testing before release.

The issue I got with these and some other player skirmish videos is the false sense of realism. You're destroying mainly inexperienced players with a fraction of the skill and ability you have. After watching Whaazz in 3s wargames Rogue's aren't that great.
And this was pre-nerf.
