I presume "Dusty" the hamster is a pseudonym to protect the guilty homemaker; if not, this must have been the most prophetic naming of a pet in history! (I'm amazed, btw, that "Dusty' managed to fit into the vacuum tube - hamsters aren't that small!!)
Re the 'butt plug' incident, if it were to happen again (to anyone) get to A&E as soon as possible. Believe me, we've seen far worse and this represents a relatively 'normal' occurrence of this type!!
