SYNOPSIS: Elena wakes up and the last thing she remembers is her friend's goodbyes.But for some reason, it never happened and her being in coma was just a bad dream.During her reunite with the others, she notices that it bothers her that Stefan is with Caroline now, and finally understands that she is still in love with him.Eventually, Elena realizes that all of this is not real and her love to Stefan is the key to break the spell because he is the one she always loved.

@@antigonizampara543 they were going to kill him anyway...he just said that he expressed it.. killing stefan was only choice left but Ian and Paul both wanted their characters to die..but we know about Julie Plec 's teenage mindset..she wanted a delena ending, so she gave it..she ruined tvd..

Elena and Stefan were the "anchor of the show" as the main love story however seemed to revolve around them, but the writers handled the plots and relationships between the characters very poorly, especially that of Stefan and Stefan. Elena. I think it went all over the place and it ended in anything because some characters were better off as friends, others were better off alone when couples and beautiful love stories were ruined like that of Stefan and Elena. I hated the turn the series took because I was for the Stelena team and I would have liked to see these two soul mates live together their human life that they wanted so much.
