I like to mix it into my running routine. Just a pain sometimes since these modern ropes get worn down so fast on concrete. You have to be on wood or always have a mat available.

Just don’t be the first person to have the dubious distinction of knocking yourself cold with a weighted jump rope by cutting it too short.
Hey Jackalope, I just bought one of those Chinese grain puffing cannons. They’re sold as popcorn poppers, but puffing rice is what they’re really good at. It’s a blast! Literally! It goes off with a big boomf and a cloud of steam, yielding a half box of puffed cereal from a half cup of rice.
The beauty of it is; it’s small and portable and you can turn hard dry grain into edible food in about fifteen minutes with a fire and about a thimble full of water . Or no water at all! And it goes bang ! 😁👍
I’m about to try puffing some barley and buckwheat.
I’m wondering if some useable flour can be made from puffed grain?
It is a lot easier to grind after puffing.

That is a dubious distinction that I am certainly qualified to achieve! And man, I love me some buckwheat and barley! Always have for some reason.

I just puffed buckwheat and barley. They puffed beautifully. The buckwheat puffed dramatically.
I got a face full of it from fumbling the bag. It shot all over and still nearly filled the bag. One half cup of grain is the load.
They sell these as corn poppers but I haven’t tried corn yet. It should make corn like in Cracker Jacks.
I just ate a massive bowl of freshly puffed brown rice, buckwheat and barley. It was incredibly good.
I tried puffing mung beans, but ended up with something very similar to mini roasted peanuts. I ate them all with a little salt .
      They weren’t bad.
I bought a 260 ml model on Amazon for ninety bucks. It’s a marvelous device. I’m sure you would like it. It is very strange and useful. A little dangerous. It gets hot. It’s cast 304 stainless 5mm thick
I’ve got oat groats and fresh wheat berries on the way.
I’ve wondered about this since those Quaker Oats ads in the 1950’s! I’ve had this itch for nearly 70 years.
It feels pretty good to finally get it scratched. I nearly went back and bought one twice the size, but three shots from the
260 ml and I have more carbs than I need.
The crazy , wonderful, dangerous things work.
