About HK's customer service, I had a P30S V3 9MM that was throwing brass to face and I sent it back. They fixed it and sent me an extra mag HK pistol case and a nice hooded sweatshirt. They were very pleasant to deal with and I cannot complain about the free stuff.
Best customer service in the biz. Always get my gun back within a few days somehow, with extras like you said. Usually just getting little icings on the cake done
Back in the 80s I had an HK p7 squeeze cocker gun. 9mm. It was a great reliiable gun with one big problem. The trigger would get really hot after a few mag changes do to the use of a gas piston to hold the slide in place untill the round left the barrell. I complained to HK and asked them what can be done about it. They just told me that they were coming out with a new pistol that had a heat sheild above the trigger; I ended up trading it for another gun, at a gun show.
I've been carrying this weapon for 15 years on duty. I'll be retiring and it will be transferred to me from the department. The Officers I'm leaving behind are transitioning to the Glock 21. I love Glock, but the USP has never let me down.
@tsunami105 Nice gun choice man. That HK45c is a monster in a small package. And the seals are carrying the same thing with a tactical barrel, taller sights, a can, and the ten rounders. Great pistol. Can't wait to get one.
Don't worry about the shorter barrel on the USP Compact .45. H&Ks (like Glock) use "polygonal" rifling in their barrels. This not only increases velocity it also increases consistency (shorter spread) I have read many MANY range reports and chronograph tests. Glock 36s (3.78" polygonal barrel) and USP Compact (3.8" barrel polygonal) usually score identical velocity results as the SIG P220 .45 (4.4" barrel conventional rifling)
Kinda reminds me of a Sig. I just ordered a P239 in 9MM and I should be picking it up after the holidays, but those H&K's are VERY nice pistols. They are on my list.
Thanks for the awesome high def video, it's as if I'm holding the pistol in my hand. I've been thinking of getting one, but the full size in 9mm, and maybe with a LEM trigger. But I'm a 1911 guy so having cocked and locked is most natural to me, I may go this route.
Regarding H&K customer service, I told them that my USP40 LEM was shooting low, and they did a trigger job on my gun for free. After that it was perfect.
i traded my g19 + cash for an Hk45c about a week ago. my carry system is a 5.11 belt with kydex insert + cross breed super tuck iwb holster. Congrats a a new carry !!
As far as i can see your handgun is one of the earliest ones…..is having a double A on the slide that means 00 wich lead me to the ideea that it was made in 2000. Nice. Thx for the video !
Hey H4T. I spent the afternoon at the range yesterday and they had the USP 45C for rent so I couldn't resist. It was a joy to shoot and I now must have one or the newer HK45C. At first the magazine release annoyed me as I considered it awkward. I soon found that using my right index finger to push down on it worked a charm. What got me was the rather tame recoil which felt no worse than running some hot 9s. HK is now my dream gun.
Nice pistol man. I miss my compact real bad. And once you buy 1 HK, you end up with alot more of them. Let me know how you like it man. And if you get the HK45 mags they will fit, so you can have a 10 round option if you need it. Take care man.
Navyman8903: I know what you mean! I've got 3 HK Mk 23's - I love em..!! I carry one cocked & locked with an HK Parts Store, extended, 17-round mag plus another 17-rounder as a backup..! Everybody I know refers to me as "Robo-Johnny" because of the size of the gun. One friend of mine commented that it could be a backup gun for RoboCop..!:-) He had commented that with the Surefire X-400U/B (1,000-lumen light) and the green laser attached, it's a bad-ass gun to be staring down the barrel at..! Cheers...!
I heard you can swap a .357 sig to a .40 barrel. I love mine in .357 but the ammo is dang expensive, I can get .40 for half the price locally. Love these HKs, im def hooked! Good video
I sub to quite a few gun channels, but I do enjoy your style of review...very laid back and factual. I have always prefered Sigs of FN to the H&Ks, but I recently got a USP compact and am Loving it! It wont replace my EDCs or CCWs, but it could if need be, plus its accurate and alotta fun. Subbed, thanks brother, Semper Fi from Chi Town. MIKE
Just got a cherry safe queen for $600 as a backup for my Sig 1911 and I couldn't be happier. It's my 4th hk..my girl uses a p30sk, I carried a usp fill sized .40 and p2000 lem .40, moved to .45 got a 1911 and this, I am spoiled as all hell
Nice choice on the new weapon. I have the same one, but I think mine is a little older, the only difference I can see is that mine doesn't have the S & F marked in red and white they're just black, but i like it better in the black. I've carried mine for 5 years now and I have not had any problems with feeding or extracting, and I have used a lot of different types of ammo with no problems of any kind. I also love my GLOCKs and carry them as well, It all depends on the dress and weather.
Love these usp compacts. I see in your newer videos you went back to glock, why? I absolutely love my usp compact 45 and my other hks. couldnt see myself going back to glock.
Me neither, I get glocks being great, probably getting a glock 34 as my second competition sized piece (1911 is what I use, want both systems for my girl to train on or maybe just a p30L or a w German Sig 226 or 220 again). HK makes the best pistols all-around on the planet. If I had to take just one pistol it would be the uspc .45 or maybe hk45c. Maybe either in 9mm or a p30. Over a Sig legion or any of thst. As much as I love my Sig Scorpion 1911, it ain't as tough as this
@gspotallnight I understand what your are saying, the fit and finish are on different levels. I said the difference is in the shooter because it doesn't matter if you pay $500 or $2000. The only things that matters is if you can put rounds on target effectively when it counts with whatever brand of pistol that you may posses. But yeah, HK makes great guns. I love the P30
Surely having the decocker only one step away from taking the gun off of safe, means that if you have it cocked and locked, in a panic surely the ease of transition of that switch could lead to decocking rather than just turning the safety off to fire?
@gspotallnight I have experience with both and I find the glock more to my liking. different strokes for different folks. IMO the difference is in the shooter.
I have a comment about the HK Customer Service. My HK USP40 LEM (Law Enforcement Model Variant 7 DAO) was shooting a bit low. I spoke with them, and said that I wasn't sure if it was the gun or if I was pulling it down because of the DAO trigger. They said to send it to them. They did a trigger job at no charge and sent it back to me.
starting too like hk more and more.Just got myself a P7M13. now just waiting for my paperwork what will take about 2 months............. Really like yr set-up 5*****
I have the same piece in stainless. My decocker took a shit on me like stuck on safety. I sent it to hk and I got it back in 3 weeks dude great customer service in my opinion. Great review also
I carry my Glock 30 a spare mag or a kimber subcompact of course always a mag in + one in the pipe ovb. And a spare mag I’m a minimalist I do carry a 3rd mag in the car. I’d say it’s a little bit to much of stuff but hey man to each is own. 11b🇺🇸
Did you get any OEM 10 rd mags . I love them for my 2 HK USP 45 C n H&K 45 C . They are great . Nothing beats a H&K . They are by far the easiest shooting 45 ever made.... The USP C mags fit the Hk45 C so if you get one you will be able to use your mags . But Grab some 10 rd mags with the elephant foot . The Seals use them on there 45 C . I even shoot IDPA with my H&K 45 C
I love that gun, would not mind getting one for myself!! I also love the hk 45 tactical as well... use to have the mark 23, but sold it, it was too big for my hands, but what a nice gun!! I see you put this video out Jan 2011, so I will look to see if you did the other video with the holster as well.. also liked your flashlight and multi tool pliers.. so what kind of Knife did you go with?? Probably see it in the other video right?? Will go look!!
Thanks for the video. H&K is my EDC but haven't felt the need to carry at "least" two extra magazines. Then again, I don't live in the south side of Chicago...
Sweet man...Glad to see another vid from ya...Just one thing...some folks have a kick for covering up their serial numbers...Dont know why...just a thought...
that will be the 1st 45acp i will buy that model i like H&K's there real good and i saw a vid on the usp9 that if the loaded ammo in the chamber don't fire on the first trigger pull you can pull the trigger 2 more times then it will fire that's what i like about H&K's usp
I love my HK usp 45 thing is awesome 18k rounds and still shoots like new. Take care of your weapon and your weapon will take care of you. Unless you carry a hi point then your fucked😂
I plan on getting one but in 40. I have a Gock 23 I carry and I'm use to the bark of 40 after 3k rounds in it. I too want more capacity. I have an Ed Brown, Les Baer and Colt 1911 that carry 8 and 9 chambered and I carry the Colt at times. If I'm gonna carry 8 I'll carry 1911 steel. I shot the full size USP and I shot it surgically. I can thread it with my 1911's but not as consistent as the USP 45. So now I want your compact version. If I shoot it that well I might as well carry it. I only hope the compact gun shoots as good for me as the full. ~Black country boy
This looks like another good video to ask USP owners basic questions. The decocker troubles me since I'm not used to it. Is there any tendency to go from safe right past ready to decocked with your thumb? Does it feel natural to stop in the middle "click" to fire? Switching from a Glock, adding two options scares my tiny brain but I do like how USPs feel.
have you seen the New Grizzle +P 45 Hollow Point ammo. The expansion is SICK! I have sen stuff on YT that shows them expanding from 1.5-1.75 inches. You gotta carry that load!
@SmokingandTyping meant to say "fire single action" but you know what I mean. I'm also interested in all the variants they put out. HK makes it complicated. That's great for options but it's annoying to remember what their trigger pull options translate to. What do most people settle on?
If you decock by accident when you only meant to disengage the safetly will pulling the trigger fire the weapon? In other words will pulling the trigger recock and fire the weapon?
hey can you still use the decock it with one in the chamber without causing it to shoot? i want to buy one so bad and this video is awsome i wanted to know what all comes in the box and now i know
I bought this gun today. Mine looks alittle different from yours. On the slide it has the HK in a gold stencil and the grips have USP only as yours has HK USP. Can you tell me why. Older model or something?
Do you happen to have the weight of the uspc 45 loaded by any chance? Been trying to compare it to my uspc9 and I have the weights unloaded but am curious how much heavier the beast 45 rounds make it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Was the slide refinished on your usp .45 compact? All the HKs i own have a flat matte look to it. And HK makes great firearms and I also have never had to call customer service at HK. Never had a problem with a pistol or a rifle from them. HK USP's are also the only tactical Tupperware I own. Drew
I plan to carry mine with an automatic Micro Tech Scarab, full size Cold Steel Safe Maker, Sure Fire Executive light. and will either use a Milt Sparks Summer Special II holster or if Im in a suit,Galco Miami Classic. , finish out with my trusty Rolex Explorer II and a Sure Fire Tactical. pen, standard day wear in New Orleans LA and Birmingham AL BTW, amunition is Cor-Bon 185 gr JHP
Ok so I bought a brand new 2011 HK usp 45 , and was wandering if you can shoot lead rounds through it ,because I have heard that it can cause a big problem.??
I much prefer the mag release like that. It is like that on the Walther P99 and P22 as well and I hit it with my middle finger to drop the mag without changing my grip too much. Uh oh, better stop talking...if NY sees some inadequate 20 year old (not 21 year old) talking about pistols they may bust my door down because I a far too young to handle such things responsibly.
About HK's customer service, I had a P30S V3 9MM that was throwing brass to face and I sent it back. They fixed it and sent me an extra mag HK pistol case and a nice hooded sweatshirt. They were very pleasant to deal with and I cannot complain about the free stuff.

CSI Tech has your duty pistol had many rounds through it? Could you take it to the range when you want if you buy your own ammo?
Those USP 45s. If there was a forever gun that's it. They will last. Love it. Congratulations on your retirement.
Thanks for the close ups man, i love this gun, and i completely agree, H&K makes quality firearms. Great video.
@tsunami105 Nice gun choice man. That HK45c is a monster in a small package. And the seals are carrying the same thing with a tactical barrel, taller sights, a can, and the ten rounders. Great pistol. Can't wait to get one.
Just picked up this HK USP .45 Compact the other day. It's my new CCW and I absolutely love it! Got to pick up that HK USP 9mm Compact next.
Don't worry about the shorter barrel on the USP Compact .45. H&Ks (like Glock) use "polygonal" rifling in their barrels. Very nice gun! I have a friend who has carried that model for several yrs, and loves it. Thanks for sharing.
Love the close up of that tough ass HK finish on the slide.
Kinda reminds me of a Sig. I just ordered a P239 in 9MM and I should be picking it up after the holidays, but those H&K's are VERY nice pistols. They are on my list.

That's a beautiful piece!
I just picked up the full size version of the same gun. I love it!
I might have to get the compact version next.
I bought an HK45c yesterday. Amazing pistols .......... I need another .. ;-)
Regarding H&K customer service, I told them that my USP40 LEM was shooting low, and they did a trigger job on my gun for free. After that it was perfect.
ItalianBrownsFAN 🤣🤣🤣🤣
H&K's customer service is top notch.😌
Hahahaha you’re a idiot. Sure they did. You just can’t shoot. Nothing wrong with the gun.
i traded my g19 + cash for an Hk45c about a week ago. my carry system is a 5.11 belt with kydex insert + cross breed super tuck iwb holster. Congrats a a new carry !!
wow this dude even talks tactically
As far as i can see your handgun is one of the earliest ones…..is having a double A on the slide that means 00 wich lead me to the ideea that it was made in 2000. Nice. Thx for the video !
The HK USP .45 compact will be my next HK.
Just got mine..how you enjoying yours if you got it yet? Found it barely used for $600 in an actual reputable gun store
just ordered mine yesterday, CANT WAIT until it comes in!!
AWESOME GUN ! I have one of those ! Built to withstand +P and +P+ ammo.
Hey H4T. I spent the afternoon at the range yesterday and they had the USP 45C for rent so I couldn't resist. It was a joy to shoot and I now must have one or the newer HK45C. What a fantastic looking gun. What a great camera too.
Damn that's alot of mags for edc
I heard you can swap a .357 sig to a .40 barrel. I love mine in .357 but the ammo is dang expensive, I can get .40 for half the price locally. Love these HKs, im def hooked! Good video
I put a hogue grip grip sleeve and trijicon tritium sights on mine an i carry it everyday. One of my favorite pistols.
She is 20 years old! Love me some USP

@Mr45triton Yes the slide was redone in HK black.
im starting to like and adapt more and more to a subcompact.
too smooth
Just got a cherry safe queen for $600 as a backup for my Sig 1911 and I couldn't be happier. It's my 4th hk..my girl uses a p30sk, I carried a usp fill sized .40 and p2000 lem .40, moved to .45 got a 1911 and this, I am spoiled as all hell
Beautiful video, but you might actually describe weight, barrel size, mag capacity, trigger pull weight, length, height, etc.
HK Compact usp45 Sig p220 and CZ97 my three favorite non 1911s in .45
Excellent video!! This gun is high priority on my wishlist!

Nice HK can't wait to get one for my collection.
HK USP 45 compact is a reliable 1911 with a comfortable grip.
ofc !
Shoe Shine wrong.
I may be getting this for my carry for sure! Nice camera btw super fine detail.
@gspotallnight I have experience with both and I find the glock more to my liking. different strokes for different folks. IMO the difference is in the shooter.
proper timing on the name change i'd say... H4T for life!

@Skragg101 You dont need to activate anything, I carry it decocked with one in the chamber, just pull gun and start fireing....
for a EDC knife try a Cold Steel recon 1. It is a great knife for your kit and is only about $50
I have HK P200Sk LEM and my best subcompact gun in my collection.
That is a sweet pistol. I want one bad. I want a single stack, 45, HK compact bad.
Did you get any OEM 10 rd mags . I love them for my 2 HK USP 45 C n H&K 45 C . They are great . Nothing beats a H&K . They are by far the easiest shooting 45 ever made.... I have a USP .45. The finish on the one I am viewing is much rougher ( with a much lower serial number ). What is up with the after market finish?
Thats great man, very good customer service, glad to hear that.
Beautiful Gun
Thanks for the video. H&K is my EDC but haven't felt the need to carry at "least" two extra magazines. Then again, I don't live in the south side of Chicago...
That looks great , you know I'm a 45 guy . Congrats !!!
Paul thats top notch bro!!! i lov mine man. accurate as MF HELL! i got the 40.
there customer service is fine they treated me very good.
Really interested in how it shoots at the range.
I'm interested in a .45 in compact but worry about my accuracy with a short barrel.
how can you go wrong? it is a great firearms. Is it new or used? I missed that point. Take care.
Sweet man...Glad to see another vid from ya...Just one thing...some folks have a kick for covering up their serial numbers...Dont know why...just a thought...
@GadgetsNGear Even if decocked it still fires, it is sa/da
@theARMORYchannel Thanks, and glad to hear that about the customer service
Hey Paul nice gun. My brother is going to loan me his camera to do some vids. My HK will be the first one. They are great guns.
@humans4targets2
Oh no, I fully get that, I'm just wondering why it can be cocked and locked if you just end up decocking anyway when you unsafety it.
that will be the 1st 45acp i will buy that model i like H&K's there real good and i saw a vid on the usp9 that if the loaded ammo in the chamber don't fire on the first trigger pull you can pull the trigger 2 more times then it will fire that's what i like about H&K's usp
@paikmendez It is two letters put on there at the factory.
Heckler & Koch makes very good fire arms.
Have shot a view times with a H&K and its shoot very nice.
Greetings from Holland.
I too want more capacity. i hate how hard it is to find magazines for them, unless you get them online, i have a HK usp.45 compact with a viridian C5L. and its amazing
This looks like another good video to ask USP owners basic questions. The decocker troubles me since I'm not used to it.
Is there any tendency to go from safe right past ready to decocked with your thumb? Does it feel natural to stop in the middle "click" to fire?
Switching from a Glock, adding two options scares my tiny brain but I do like how USPs feel.
he's so happy with his new toy...
Great vid. And nice marathon watch.
have you seen the New Grizzle +P 45 Hollow Point ammo. The expansion is SICK! I have sen stuff on YT that shows them expanding from 1.5-1.75 inches. You gotta carry that load!
Freakin awesome camera! and I like the H&K too. Nice.
Nice illustration man!

Nice setup.
Really enjoy your presentations, thank you, but please explain the "variant" trigger options.
Im getting the full size USP 45. But dang that Compact looks sexy

Very nice USP. I'll get one of those someday.
@frankgon4 yeah I was looking at those too, but after holding both side by side the USP sat nicer in my hand, the HK was just too thin around the grip
Ok so I bought a brand new 2011 HK usp 45 , and was wandering if you can shoot lead rounds through it ,because I have heard that it can cause a big problem.??
@Fothizz Thanks, I was wondering if it came out clear
Cool video as always. Thanks a lot for making it.
Exudes quality
@Sigp229TRT I dont use it, I leave the hammer decocked and you pull the gun and it fires....
@dbmers Many thanks - that makes more sense now, cheers.
great presentation on your videos
How big of difference is the USP.45 Compact from the HK45C...........
