Excellent, and yes, a H20 Express lure, great knock and great colors. I’ve used them also in freshwater for bass. Your calm conditions are great with smaller topwaters when a bite turns on. I bought a bunch of these when they were readily available.
@@gutzfishing7853 super, I just see a lot of UA-cam vids, with lots of followers, who aren’t so careful or don’t remind people to handle their releases properly. Congrats on a tremendous trout-filled day and bite, it’s what I live for when wading or kayaking.
Awesome video, love that Shimano GLF rod, great for lures. Mine did not hold up well to the Salt though, rust is appearing under the wrap for the guides.
I'm going to try to get out the this weekend on my Rover. Where's a good launch spot to get to this west part of the bay without having to travel all the way from livin reel salty?
@@gutzfishing7853 thanks, I went out this past Friday morning while the wind was low. Was a great morning. New to using a skiff, so any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Do you do trips with subs?
@@danielspartan27 yah man I was out on the skiff Friday it was glass made for a great day. I do but by draws…will have guide license at the end of spring break
Nice bud me and Mason Have fished that spot a lot ! Keep it going
One of my favorite spots, endless amount of oyster and guts to target trout! 😁

Be sure to moisten your hands before handling fish you’re releasing or use fish lip grippers, please.
@@johnkarges8829 trust me my hands stay wet after catching that many😂

Bro, how can I get to here by driving? I drove around and saw only private properties. How do I get to this spot? Do you have an address?
This spot has been hit and miss for me. Gotta time it right the wind can be a bitch in a kayak.
Damn right, I would never go that far unless I had my skiff or taken a boat 😂
Its even further now to get too by kayak since the Joe Fulton Launch right across the Jumbo project closed down due to erosion I guess 😕
@@larasfishingchronicles9301
that was a my spot to launch. Would be nice to see it fixed or make another fishing spot on river.
Can you launch at the boat ramp by calallen
@@johnbutanda3108 there’s a launch by the river but I would never attempt in a kayak, way too far
