A classic, aesthetic video, to this song. The text is full of grueling longing and above all, Larissa's cool, clear voice is enthroned, which gives this song even more expression.

Holy holy sh*t. Born in 1969, I grew up in the 80's. The Cure, Depeche Mode, Joy Division/New Order. This brings back the memories of the parties where we played them loud and drunk and smoked too much........ Love to you
people say that these songs help them get through their hard times but this shit is killing me more than anything while im going through my hard time these days... how can this not make me miss him more? how is it doing otherwise?
Its because the music reflects what we feel and for a moment we feel connected and not alone and the music will take the pain away its feeling of healing take the negative out of it and let yourself let him go and youll feel the impowerment in yourself
This is one of those songs you will only find relief in to your sorrow. Whatever personal battle you're dealing with and whatever stage in life you're at.This album shoots straight through the auditory system and into the soul, well done Larissa & William!❤🖤
Lebanon Hanover is by far my favorite band in modern times. A gem, a rarity in todays world. I buy all of their albums and singles. It’s a must with this band.
Being goth is often misunderstood as a superficial fascination with darkness, exemplified by devil worship or excessive makeup. However, the essence of goth culture is much deeper and more nuanced. It is a poetic exploration of the human experience, with a particular focus on life's inherent pain and sorrow. This perspective is not about glorifying suffering, but rather about acknowledging and understanding it as a fundamental part of our existence. I love Lebanon Hanover for portraying human reality in it's music.
This is crushing my heart. I 💘 these two bands and knew they shared a lot of bills but had no idea Larissa and Joanna were so close. I can't imagine how agonizing this must be. 💔. A beautiful, pure expression of the pain of separation by unavoidable circumstance and vast distance.

It's mental the distance that separates us
Spaced out with the coffee and your peculiar
Living room with the gathering charm
No women bother but you
Half a cigarette of you
You know it blows me away
Like a hard drug
Chainsmoke and heavy drinking, it's all I can do
So hard to find a person in life like you
It's everyday love, we are used to it
But today it kills me that you're not in it
It's really a mess to see how grey things are
Collecting pictures and objects that unite us
Take me out to the most subversive clubs
Of your giant sparkling city
I am gathering too
Scrolling through bookmarks with you
It's cold turkey from a very hard drug
Chainsmoke and heavy drinking, it's all I can do
So hard to find a person in life like you
It's everyday love, we are used to it
But it crucifies me that you're not in it
