I don't understand someone knowing what his fiance wants and then intentionally doing EVERYTHING completely different opposite of what he knows she wants. It's just ridiculous. Parts of it seems cruel. He's extremely lucky that went as well as it did because it was nearly an absolute nightmare.
I have a love/hate relationship with this show. It frustrates me to no end, but it's still my favorite thing to binge watch 😂
I hear you. I do think it is scripted. I think the bride and groom do this show for the money because they often come off bad. I just wonder though sometimes if employers watch this show = some of the brides and grooms come off really really bad. It is entertainment and probably scripted but you thinkwhy does a goof like Aaron have woman and so many don't.

Some guys don't really know what the brides want...this guy knows what she wants and seems determined to do the opposite. This guy doesn't need a bride...he needs a mother...she is really dealing with 2 children.

This is my dad. You're a bit of an idiot, really. This is a reality tv show... a lot of it is staged by the directors. Both my parents, Aaron and Deirdre, are nearly in their fourties now and they both have a lot more confidence and two more children.
I can't bear to watch the actual process but at the end it turned out beautifully and at the beginning its clear they're already really happy together so this episode went well! It's a huge task for anyone man or woman to make this many decisions about an unfamiliar subject in such a short time. Kudos to them both and much happiness! 🥰
It is obvious that he is overwhelmed, as I think Anyone would be.
I'm convinced that the casting people deliberately seek out grooms who know nothing about their bride and swear to go against every instinct they do have about what she might want.

Im soooo glad that MY Aaron is a real grown up. This is my third episode and all these immature guys are a big turn off both for a new show, and in general. But it does make me feel personally very very lucky. The world is full of fools.

"I don't like strapless on anyone" - the mom has good taste. The bridesmaids dresses were long finally,if they just had a neckline instead of a chestline - or something up top, they were definitely the better of dress choices, not a short dishrag.

That's my dad. No, he's not. He's autistic, that's why he's very particular. He also used to be a comedian; when he calls her a control freak, he is JOKING. The little girl in the video is me, I'm nearly fifteen now, and my parents are happy with two more kids. This whole "don't tell the bride" thing fabricates EVERYTHING and has put my parents through awful stuff. I love my dad to bits, he's the best man I could ever think of, my mother couldn't wish for a better husband. When my auntie says he gets upset easily, let me know that he is now a diagnosed autistic. Do not judge from a crappy reality show youtube video. My mother is happy and loves him to bits, it's a balanced relationship.

This guys who doing show more appreciation toward the mothers of their children. I realize the show is full of couples where the woman is super competent and the guy takes advantage of that. That is why I appreciate it when an episode does not play to that stereotype. If only more grooms were like Lee was toward Sophie in Season 1: mature, respectful, and someone who realizes love means showing up as a partner. But then, it would not be much of a show, I suppose.

Is it a thing in other countries for brides to buy their bridesmaids dresses? because every wedding I've ever been a part of its up to me to pay for my own dress since I agreed to be in the wedding. I mean if you can't afford it you say no. This also applies for groomsmen outfits. Also, are they not aloud to put in their own money if they want something more costly? does the show restrict that.
I have never heard of bridesmaids buying their own dresses.

That's my dad. Most things on this show is completely influenced by the directors. He's a wealthy, successful business man now, with 3 kids (including me) and a loving wife. We are a happy family and in reality, he is one of the most mature men you will ever meet.
I really have to wonder how much of this show is "staged", "Set up" or extremely influenced by the producers? I know some men can be complete morons and some women can be completely irrational BUT in any case, to honestly think that a person getting married would intentionally try and ruin their partner's wedding day is really unrealistic!? 10,000 pounds isn't enough for someone to want to humiliate themselves, their families, and their new spouse? A rational human being would be ok just getting married at the courthouse rather than being humiliated on national TV... Or is it that the show targets couples who otherwise couldn't afford any type of proper wedding?.
Hello! I'm Annabelle, the little girl from this video. I'm fifteen in a few months. Most of this show is very staged, and it was extremely painful for both my parents, especially my dad. My father, Aaron, is a strange but wonderful man and my mother loves how he surprises her. Basicallly, most things are directed.

Why does he picks everything he knows she doesn't want. On the other hand, I want a fancy place to get married, very modern and so on, a very elegant dress, stylish and posh... Do keep in mind that there is a budget love, even if this man would consider your wishes, which he doesn't, that would be quite near impossible.
