I like the simplicity. I don't bother with a tent. I just shower behind my van when everyone's gone to bed. I use a rubber mat to stand on. Your set-up is great for a family. Those submersible shower units are great.
Tie a loop of bungee / shock cord around the loop that you peg down. If you get a bit of wind it gives it a bit of flexibility with out ripping the corner if your ensuite tent off.
Yes, thanks for sharing your great idea. I find the comments often as helpful as the videos in this community :) peace and love to all reading and happy trails andria
Many thx for your very informative vid. I’m looking for a shower tent to put on my old Prado. Kickass and Kings are the same price atm. The Kickass looks better made but there’s no sandwich plates to hang the brackets off a Kings roof rack so a bit extra cost to buy Kings brackets I’m guessing. Don’t know why Kickass don’t supply them. Think I might get a Kickass and do a trip into town for the brackets ☺️🌸
Couple things...I mounted mine on roof racks and the tent dragged over the body of my 4x4 and the zip too...I end up using long brackets (24") and couple tent pole to support the tent.....also I'm 6ft 5" tall and others comment "we know what your doing" also there is no roof...not fun on toilet in rain...great tube though
While showering we hung them over the top of the shower. Alternatively, we'd like to get a light basket/bag to pop them in. Afterwards, the dirty clothes go straight into a dry bag in the dirty gear bag on the spare tyre. Lemme know if that answers your question!
Yeah, we ended up grabbing one when the deadblow died. We left our hammer behind before we left on the trip, just didn't have any lump hammers at Supercheap when we were there, so settled on the deadblow. Good advice for anybody else though. Chur

Hubby and I are planning a similar setup, minus the pump (just using a dipper), and a free standing pop up shower tent.

Excellent idea 👍

When attached to the vehicle is a showering side effect constant muddy ground right outside your door?
We've had no dramas thus far. It's always dried well but I suppose it depends on the climate you're camping in. Cheers. 🏕️
Where do you place the dry/ dirty clothes? Cheers, r

You guys are so cute
I would switch to a 30 oz mash hammer.

@@alexolly I know I know, it’s the least I can do. Keep the cards and letters rolling in..
I wanted to look at KA's products but as a family friendly travel team I cannot have Kick A** written all over it. They need to change their logo.
Totally get where you are coming from. I think you can get buy generic covers around but it's just whether it's worth the extra expense for you. 👍
They don’t need to change thier logo. U may need to change your outlook.
