One of best performance by any classical singer in world .
Every time I listen to this performance....with due respect to all other singers...even my favorite Mahdi Hassan...I feel that this one is matchless to every other performance I have come across.
But , off course
This is music at its best...please no comparisons.... I have seldom heard such melodious voice.
Kitna dhard hai inki gayaki me! Marhoom Kundanlal Sehgal ka nagma "Babul Mora..." Sunkar Rone ke baad is nagme ne mujhe rulaya hai!!!
An absolute wonder...his voice has melody,komalta,subtle variation,penetration....you name those and he has all.Hats off to you ustad jee and rest in peace.

HOw would you guys compare to someone like Nusrat Fateh Ali, who is the better singer? Nusrat is widely regarded as the best in the subcontinent would he be above Nusrat?
SDSen both sing different genres . ustad salamat ali khan and ustad nazakat ali khan sahab use to sing hardcore classical while nusrat fateh ali khan sahab were a qawwali singer therefore there cant b much of a comparison between these legends ❤

SDSen please stop comparing anybody else with this man.....perhaps u don't know that in India also he is regarded as one of d best singers world has ever produced....nothing like this performance....sublime....its God's grace to humankind that we r lucky listen to him....God perhaps sings through him

Ustad nusrat has no comparision with this legend ustad salamat ali....ustad nusrat was master of sargam and he was master of all....he didnot sang any filmi songs or qawalis so and was not in that modern period where nusrat was...but truely the control he got on his voice doesnt need any support with music instruments where ustad nusrat got help with famous tunes and music insyruments also
