the first installation of the backpacking diaries, italy. I've always fantasized about a euro summer possibly due to my rewatches of cmbyn every summer. I must say my time in italy was such a dream. I made new friends, swam in the most beautiful waters, and by the end of it felt like my blood ran only of wine and aperol spritzes. not pictured but I wanted to share some other things I did in italy: went to a techno rave at old ruins, ran through the streets of italy at night after going dancing by myself, andddd went on probably the most romantic date of my life.

What vlogging/filming equipment did you pack with you? I’ve always been intrigued to know how UA-camrs and video creators choose + pack equipment for travel because I keep imagining it’s heavy/hard to pack into a day bag/decide what you really need/not overpack etc
i brought with me my small canon g7x vlog camera (ended up losing it during my travels tho lol), a small tripod, and my go pro! I kept it rlly simple. While I wish I could bring a 4k full frame camera w me it’s just not practical especially w my type of vlogging where i like to capture things authentically thus having to be able to film quickly

Ugh St Peters Basillica was my absolute favorite place in Rome, made me actually feel something once I took a step into it it was amazing
It’s also crazy to see Florence portrayed so beautifully after studying abroad there a semester awhile back, it was nice to see :)
