I love the KNK 2 being reverted back to the Tekken 6 stuff. It helps me have better wall pressure against certain matchups. And the qcf+3+4 is sooo good. Cause I love that move.
Hey, I just discovered that due to the b1+4 buff, you can now launch all characters with a hopkick after the move counter hits without a wall, however, this only works if Leo is slightly off axis to the opponent's right, this means this would rarely work since characters tend to realign when they attack unless you SS a string, wonder if you could discover a set up to make this work, because if it does, you can easily get 87 damage combos with no walls and 105 with rage. Edit: This is amazing, this actually works without going off axis on big characters and Miguel, you can actually get a max damage combo of 90 from it without rage or walls.
It works on jack, gigas and Marduk without being off axis. For male characters like king and miguel, it sometimes works on axis but there are times where it whiffs. Doesn't work at all on female characters. It's a buff with risks on a lot of the cast, lol.
This video makes me so sad I cannot learn Tekken. It just seems so hard unlike DOA. Your Leo is amazing, and watching this video was very satisfying. I cannot wait to see more from you. 🤠
It's nice to see all this support from Namco! This is my new favourite Tekken! (Was Tekken 3 till now) But please, make an enhancing update for new consoles! Especially PS5 that I am fun of!🤪
I think given the next gen console releases, bandai namco might be preparing for a T7 definitive edition of some sort with enhanced stuff to run on newer consoles with all previous dlc and new content like game modes etc. Seeing as how successful T7 is and how outdated the graphics are with no news of a new Tekken game, I think that's likely to happen.
I'm glad you're back, I've missed your content so damn much! KNK 3+4 at wall can lead to some interesting off-axis tech traps. It puts the opponent backwards when getting up so I think it has some potential. By far still the worst new move in S4 though
I noticed that because they increased the hop kick lower hit box as well as making b1+4 closer on hit and counter hit now against some characters b1+4 now acts as a counter hit launcher in open air and not just at the wall

That's probably the only optimal way of using it, tbh. That and if you use KNK 1+2 at the wall and use b+3+4, 3+4 to hit enemies on the ground or as a mixup for those that tech roll and even then it's a gamble. I don't see high level players falling for it often. KNK 4 is more scarier.
@@prince.fatalis I don't think it's good idea doing knk3+4 on the opponent when they're on defensive situation, the risk and reward not worth doing it. I just experiment knk3+4 when whiffing the opponent attacks, eventho they already recovering from the attack animation, none of them gonna ducking.

It's actually 1 frame better than the old bf1+2 but its recovery is still horrible. At least bf1+2 has better damage and 1 frame better oki. It's still a shame that they didn't change Leo's optimal combos or increase the damage for them. I would've rather preferred that buffed than BOK 2's dmg tbh to compensate not losing anything.

Overall, Leo's better than in S3. With the damage scaling nerf, however, it hit kind of hard and only f,f+3 into BOK 2 remain unchanged due to the BOK 2 buff in damage. I'll make a future video discussing all of my thoughts. 😊
I think that one is only viable as a wallsplat although I'm not sure if b+3,1,2 may whiff. I think they made this change based on having seen my combo video where ki charges after wallsplats were a just frame. d+4,2 1+2 at wall break into RD was a strict just frame and now it's so piss easy to do, lol.

It is because it's two hits and damage starts scaling at the 2nd hit (70%). The first hit does 100% but it scales the 2nd hit due to the opponent being in airborne status.
I like the slight polish of some moves that season 4 brought, in overall it is a sliiiight buff to the character, but they do not address main issues Leo has. Also, the new move is practically useless since we have better options to use from KNK stance that are much safer and more effective than this move. Just as the season 3 new move was pretty bad in comparison to some other toons, but was still used in some rare cases, I cannot really see a use for the season 4 move in the current shape it is. It knocks too far away, animation and restore frames are too high, it's easy to punish, the damage is not impressive, does not spin, is not good for juggles, it does not allow you to chain into a stance, does not even let you in a WS or FC for a follow-up. Maybe I am missing something, but it is possibly the least useful move we have atm. All in all Leo is a good character, my fav among all, but I just feel she could use some more of love from devs, otherwise she may not appear in the new Tekken because of how underplayed the character is... Anyway, thankies for the video, and don't disappear again or my Leo will find you >(

Magic 4 into jab is dumb easy now. F4 loops still exist but I can't do it. I feel like her new sweep would have been better if it was her FC df3 move so she can go into other stuff. She got buffs overall which is nice unlike poor Lee.
im able to see 1-13 more damage using keycharge moves but its using ragedrive and as far as i can tell the 13 more is not guaranteed. I dont get how the balance team can make the new move a 24frame low that doesnt give anything or hit or counterhit, maybe it will get fixed like the b4 1+2 wallbounce
I wish they would buff his combo dmg. Like buff the dmg on f2 ws3 uf1 uf11 knk2 and maybe (b1)4 and f4. You have to have Jesus level execution to get combo dmg that other characters can get from their easy staples.
I'm a bit confused. Are you saying if f,f+4,3 is guaranteed after ws 1+2 hits? Ws 1+2 is one of those moves that gives insane frame advantage but nothing is guaranteed if the opponent holds back.

For strings that can be parried I suppose. 2+3 is still a risky parry with Leo and given how they haven't touched it this season it doesn't look like they are focused on fixing it anytime soon. I normally include parriable moves in character punishment guides. I do want to make new ones again and redo old ones.
TBH, I don't mind if they keep the S3 Leo as long as the new move is cool and useful every time (whether for pokes or punish). And in the end, deep sighs of disappointment.
I might jump into matches later. I plan to buy a PC to play Tekken 7 and edit videos more efficiently. Still waiting on a good deal (around black Friday or in december) but I'll let you all know when that happens. 😊

Interesting. I was looking for a laptop. I tend to move around my apartment and visit my family around NYC and Long Island often so the portability is a must. Laptops only go as far as Rtx 2080 Super, right? I doubt the 30 series is available right now on a laptop given the power it punches.
@@prince.fatalis yeah all of newegg shows the 2080 being the highest and those laptops are super expensive. I know my living room computer has a 4790k and a 4GB GTX 960 and it runs Tekken 7 maxed full frames. Many laptops can beat that easily.
KNK 4 is kind of buffed since +9 on regular hit is strong for a low. Basically a free mixup for Leo and it's difficult to step. Still, it's generally best to respect KNK anyway and block the low.
So what if some numbers got changed Leo still has the same fucking problems super-low combo damage and very steppable. All they had to do this season was to give him/her good combo filler
Yeah, it's disappointing. I would've at least been fine if they buffed damage input rather than BOK 2's damage to compensate what you lose with damage scaling nerf. Leo has other launchers and filler would've been a better option to buff.

Those were the biggest buffs but Leo is still subpar, lol. With the damage scaling you can't get ridiculous damage besides from f,f3 into BOK 2 having remained the same. KNK 4 is now good for a guaranteed mixup so opponents will at least fear the low.
@@SmokinSkyzoStyle Close to OP how? Leo is no longer a force to recognize in the tournament scene since the character got game changing nerfs in S2. b+1,4 hid a lot of weaknesses for the character and once it was nerfed, Leo's tracking weakness was more apparent than ever before.

@@abazgier It has always done that. It's something where the combo counter shows or doesn't show. Same if you use f+1+2 after and other moves.

Well I’d rather take 21 dmg with combo potential than a flat out 26 dmg move

@@prince.fatalis yeah all of newegg shows the 2080 being the highest and those laptops are super expensive. I know my living room computer has a 4790k and a 4GB GTX 960 and it runs Tekken 7 maxed full frames. Many laptops can beat that easily.

KNK 4 is kind of buffed since +9 on regular hit is strong for a low. Basically a free mixup for Leo and it's difficult to step. Still, it's generally best to respect KNK anyway and block the low.

So what if some numbers got changed Leo still has the same fucking problems super-low combo damage and very steppable. All they had to do this season was to give him/her good combo filler
Yeah, it's disappointing. I would've at least been fine if they buffed damage input rather than BOK 2's damage to compensate what you lose with damage scaling nerf. Leo has other launchers and filler would've been a better option to buff.

Those were the biggest buffs but Leo is still subpar, lol. With the damage scaling you can't get ridiculous damage besides from f,f3 into BOK 2 having remained the same. KNK 4 is now good for a guaranteed mixup so opponents will at least fear the low.
Honestly don’t think Leo ever gonna get a buff. Only time Leo gonna get a buff is being in Tekken 8 lol

@@SmokinSkyzoStyle Close to OP how? Leo is no longer a force to recognize in the tournament scene since the character got game changing nerfs in S2. b+1,4 hid a lot of weaknesses for the character and once it was nerfed, Leo's tracking weakness was more apparent than ever before.
