I think you guys would enjoy this show if you ever need more content to react to. The relationship with Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko is adorable, and Tanjiro has such a good nature to him that's easy to like.

I find it funny that she said she'll pick morata because her butterfly girl can protect him because in the anime the butterfly girl saves morata and takes care of him while he is injured after he gets defeated by a demon
The first girl you see, Nezuko, is the sister of the first guy you see, Tanjiro. She has a muzzle on because she was turned into a demon but still has her humanity intact (somewhat). Main point of the show is Tanjiro wants to find a way to turn her back so he doesn’t have to kill her, as demons are required to be killed by slayers basically without excuse
Just saying that she has a muzzle because she is a demon does not really explain things, since those who haven't watched the series don't know why a demon would need a muzzle... Basically, demons want to eat humans so since Nezuko was turned intro a demon she feels constant hunger that can only be sated by eating human flesh. The muzzle is there to prevent her from taking bites out of people in a moment of weakness.
5:30 Btw all the demon slayer use different breathing styles to fight demons. Like water breathing, flame breathing, wind breathing etc. So the Zenitsu the yellow haired guy uses Thunder breathing, and the reason his eyes where closed is because he’s asleep. He is the complete polar opposite when he’s awake. He becomes to scared to fight and would run instead crying. Lol that’s why I love him
Btw you both should watch demon slayer if you both haven’t already. I highly recommend it. Season 3 just came out too, and it’s been all amazing. Ik for a fact y’all both are gonna love it.

The reason a lot of the characters use water breathing, is because Tanjiro (the main character) was taught by Urokodaki (old masked man) who is also a water breathing user. Giyu, the water hashira, was also the one who recruited Tanjiro and recommended him to Urokodaki. The other masked kid and young girl were also a former student of the old man, so from those connections alone, you've got 5 water breathing users. Plus water breathing is breathing technique that focuses more on defensive techniques, parrying and healing, more so than other breathing techniques, so it does make sense a lot of people are taught that element. As for how Tanjiro can use "fire breathing" while being a water breathing user, I feel like it's a heavy spoiler but just know that it is not common, or even normal, for most swordsmen to have two breathing techniques.

And now, about the draft: Initially Bethany picked Giyu, Shinobu and Tengen, three of the hashira, so I thought she was winning, but the moment Ken picked Kyojuro Rengoku (a hashira) and Akaza (Upper Moon 3), I think he won the match 😅 And by the way Ken, when you were talking about Kyojuro and said "I think he's my favourite character", I feel like you were speaking in the name of a great percentage of the fandom of this anime 😂😂
I've not watched Demon Slayer, but I do know that its first movie is the highest-grossing japanese animated film of all time. It made more money than Spirited Away which is kind of crazy.

Regarding your questions the guy with the eyes on his hands he draft in which directions things will go and then the eyes close and the movement starts, that spider demon is a guy not a girl btw, the one with the mouth on the hand I guess had to be adapted to fit in the game because most of his skills were not showed in the anime, but basically he can fuse with objects and also can put people to sleep. Demon Slayer is a very good anime, it has english dub btw. The characters are mainly from the 1st season, though the flashy guy with the jewels on his head is from the 2nd. :) You really must start watching anime, there are a lot of cool anime out there that I know you will both enjoy. Not to mention that you will increase your viewership. :)
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames another anime that I strongly recommend is Overlord, its an anime where the main character is teleported from his favorite game to a fantasy world and all NPCs in his guild come to life and to top that he is transported there in the body of his ingame character which is a skeletal mage. He don't want to return to his world but want to see if any of his ingame buddies made there, however the NPCs are created by his old friends but some don't want them to return because they are programmed to be evil and feel like they are abandoned by their creators with the exception of the main character who they see as a god. He also starts to change sinking more in his avatar psychology. So it's comedic but also dark, in this anime evil wins, but the way it's made, it makes you sympathize with the evil guys. I think this anime can show you how deep a plot in an anime can get.

They use specialized breathing techniques to increase their strength, speed, and resilience in order to be able to defeat the demons. The trail behind the blade is for the viewer to associate which breathing is being used and shows the character's mastery over the breathing style; the characters themselves are unaware of the trails.
Well nezuko is actually a demon who isn’t exactly a demon nor human so she kind of gets hungry when looking at humans cuz demons eat humans so her brother tanjiro decided to put a muzzle bamboo so she can control her inner demon and not eat humans

It's actually a mask representation of a Tengu, who were spirits of the winds that lived far up in the mountains, as far as I remember they were said to guide monks in their voyages and take care of the remote altars while also keeping the peace between the heavens and the lands.
Tanjiro doesn't really use both Fire and Water. Sure he used Water Breathing at the start because the person who saved him used Water Breathing and so trained him with Water Breathing, but later on it was revealed that Tanjiro had in fact always knew the very first and original Breathing technique that was passed down through a dance in his family called Hinokami Kagura, which basically translates to Dance of the Fire God. This very first Breathing technique called Sun Breathing created by the very first Demon Slayer Yoriichi was the basis and root of ALL Breathing techniques in the story. Yoriichi taught Sun Breathing to the other Demon Slayers, but since Sun Breathing was too difficult for them to master, they started developing their own versions of Breathing techniques to make do, taking root and inspiration from Sun Breathing. Tanjiro's ancestor was a friend to Yoriichi, having been rescued by Yoriichi from a Demon. In one of their conversations, Yoriichi was melancholic and accepted the fact that his Sun Breathing will die with him with no true successor. Wanting to do something for his friend and refusing to let his friend's legacy die out, Tanjiro's ancestor started the Hinokami Kagura in their family, a dance to be passed down through generations that more or less copied what Yoriichi did when performing his Sun Breathing techniques. In the end, his ancestors were but normal humans, unable to fully use this Sun Breathing as it should be, however Tanjiro by being exposed to Breathing techniques, learned that his family's traditional dance is more than what it seems. We have been getting more into anime. Watching our first true anime with DBZ Kai (going to go with dubs mainly) 😅

In Demon Slayer, only the Demons have Magic. The Slayers only use sword fighting. The elements are just for us to represent their fighting form.
