Closet space is absolutely my number one priority as well. I stayed at a place with open shelving and hanging and I hated it, so specifically closed closet space
I feeeeel that. I don’t need to be reminded every day of my chaotic closet haha. My last place had a closet room, which I loved… but it wassss a little stressful when it was messy… so I would keep the door closed haha

I think my priorities are closed storage space, lots of light (natural or electric), gas stove and lots of outlets
yes lots of light is important. It’s so weird how soooo many apartments don’t have installed lighting in the bedroom and living room… ugh 😩
most important thing in an apt is not sharing with bugs and rodents
