i have a little confusion can anyone help me with this ? at time 5:02 there is a statement which says amino acids are amphoteric but if amino groups are more than carboxyl groups then it will react as base and when carboxyl groups are in majority then it will react as acid and when both are equal then amino acid will be neutral but in which condition it will react as amphoteric then?
the topic falls under 'amphoteric'. it is said that amphoteric oxides contain both acidic and basic characteristics. and then it explain how and when it is basic and acidic separately
