It looks like this battery actually is compatible with the other tools unlike the older saw which is why I got the little 40v instead which is good too. I would like to see a feature where the oil doesn't leak out all over in storage. I've been happy with the greenworks stuff.
Question do you think this saw is better then the Milwuakee chainsaw? Im still debating on which chainsaw to buy, I have both Greenworks equipment and Milwaukee equipment.
On my channel I demoed the DeWalt and Milwaukee saws. I prefer the Milwaukee because it has better torque and the standard two nut tensioning system. It really does depend on your battery system though because you need some additional batteries if you want to do any serious amount of work.
I used mine once it worked fine the chain came loose I put back now it doesn't turn, greenworks has a terrible support line holding for hours no one picks up the phone. Need help to get this chainsaw fixed.
Appreciate the review! Question, was this given to you guys to review? I only ask because 80% of the reviews on Lowe's were clearly promotional. Also, considering this company is relatively new and based in China I'm hesitant to make the purchase.
I don't know if the reviewer received the saw from Greenworks or not but I have had several GW 60V tools (chainsaw, weedeater, blower) for 2 or 3 years and have been extremely pleased with all of them. Hope this helps.
Thank you for a short, concise, no BS review. I love content like this.
Model numbers would help. Have no idea what "that last one" means or if it looks the same or how to tell the difference between the old and new saw.
I have the 40v 20202 saw. the bar tightening table is stripped and nobody has a replacement. Is the gen 2 made the same way?
Love this saw, I have the 18" 80V. It cuts like butter and you don't have to wear ear protection.
Ok, how do you start it and maintenance it ?
Does anyone know if the older 60v batteries can work in this saw?
Second gen is that uses more black on it?)

Any idea when Lowe’s is launching this? App and website for Lowe’s don’t show it, only the old stuff that’s discontinued
The version I have is 80v 18" bar, what about an 18" version 2 of this saw?

Maybe you put it on too tight.
Try running it without the bar and chain and see if the sprocket spins
Here in the UK, the agents give excellent service. I am very pleased with Greenworks tools.
Does Oregon make a replacement chain for this?
How does it compare to Mil & DW saws?
But only 12m per sec chain speed. I’d imagine that would relate to significant vibration
