wow such a amazing atmosphere 🔥
Appreciate it! Thanks🙂👊
Very well done! The Pocket 3 is an amazing camera/gimbal.
Thank you! Yeah, very small and simple to use!🙂👌
Excellent grading as always. I eventually took the plunge on filmconvert and I love it! Currently own the R5 and have the pocket 3 on the way. Amazing to see the footage can be graded really nice!
Oh yeah thats a good investment! Filmconvert is just a no brainer I think. The DJI Pocket 3 is fantastic for what it is, a small gimbal in your pocket that actually grades and holds up really well I must say 🙂👌🎬
Thanks for watching and sticking around!
This video came up on my feed while I was browsing for the Sony fX-3 cinematic camera. This is good footage of the DJI pocket 3. I wanted to get that camera but I am really loving the FX3.
What editing software do you use for the grading?
Thanks! I get it, Im loving my Canon R5c to and the DJI Pocket 3 is no replacement for it 🙂 Im using Filmconvert here!
Wonderful music choice too!
Hey, glad you like this one! Thank you🙂👊
First “cinematic” example I’ve seen that actually looks cinematic.
Hi! Thanks for that, glad you like it!🙂👌
Looks like the opening scene from a gothic horror movie... brilliant 👍
😅Hahahah thats a first! Thank you!
@@CinematicFilmFatherwhat is this piece of music called please?
Beautiful footage! Did you use any Nd or Promist filter on it?
Hi there! Thank you, no ND or Promist. Just my own lut together with Filmconvert in post🙂
paulhenriksjoberg.com/canonr5ccinematiclut/p/djiosmopocket3cinematiclutpack
love it
Thank you!🙏🙂
Very beautiful video! I just bought the pocket 3 and I already am loving it. This video confirms that I made a good choice lol Were you using the black mist filter for this?
Hey great! Awesome little thing🙂 Watch my little school, more episodes to come

I don't own a mist filter, but I have some tips I will get into in the next episode on how you dont need that mist filter, and how you achieve that filmic look very easy!
Are you filming everything in a slower speed or very slow hand movements?
Beautiful short film! Did you use any ND filters for this footage? If so, can I ask you which ones you got? Cheers!
Thanks man! I don't have any ND filters yet, this one was in quite low light so it worked quite well without. Dont know if Im gonna get some ND filters for the Osmo to be honest.. its not my main camera, so I like to keep it really simple there.
@@CinematicFilmFather yeah it makes sense, thanks!
Love this!! Just picked one up for Christmas and due to work i haven't tried it outdoors yet. What settings did you use especially the frame rate you used. Thanks in advance
Awesome! Yeah this was my first test with it... An hour before work🙂👌 On this one I used 60fps in D-Log, slowed down to 25 fps for that smooth footage.
@@CinematicFilmFather Thanks for replying so quickly . I'll give it a try
When doing walking shots, do the ninja walking with the gimbal. Really makes for that smooth motion 🙂👌
@@CinematicFilmFather Great now I'll be the odd one out.🤣 Thanks for the tip
Could you please share all camera settings you used to achieve this ? (& filters)
Hi, no special camera settings. 60fps, slowed down to 25fps in post. Filmed in D-Log and graded with my own baselut
paulhenriksjoberg.com/canonr5ccinematiclut/p/djipocket3lut
And then some Filmconvert on that for that true filmic look🙂
looks good, now if you could film some cinematic closeups of bees for me to look at before I take the plunge, that would amazing😉
I will do even better for you... Tomorrow I will film a closeup of a beer puppy and its mother😎
You think the footage from DJI Pocket 3 holds up?😊
What was your settings setup?
60fps slowed down to 25fps, D-Log, 50-3000 iso, 120 shutterspeed 🙂👌
Which Filter you use ?
No filter. This is graded with my own custom lut for DJI Osmo Pocket 3🙂

I think it looks pretty atmospheric but asically 99% of the cinematic clips I have seen for this camera are in slow motion and very dark - it makes wonder if the nd filters are usedt o compensate for footage that would otherwise look rather crap. Additionally, I dont know if it is just me, but a lot of the uploads are with the wide angle lens which I think tends to flatten or widen peoples‘ heads/faces. I‘m currently considering this camera and the Sony zve10 and am edging towards the latter..Any feedback welcome - I don‘t mean to be a party pooper..
Hi! Yeah.. i get it. But it is of course this little cameras strength, a small gimbal in your pocket😉 I have not been using the wide angle yet though, neither the ND which I do not own yet🙂
I think this camera does really good in what its supposed to be good at, but its not a do it all camera, neither is it a cinema camera.
I've had the pocket 2 for a couple of years and i do actually like it.. I've made a couple of vids of me playing guitar and singing in my studio.. I also use a ten year old panasonic gx7 with it.. Both struggle a bit in my studio but that's also down to poor lighting.. The pocket also overheats very quickly.. How did the 3rd iteration hold up?
@nizman1000 I hear ya! I have not had any sort of problems with overheating... But, i've also mostly used it outdoors and its been really cold for the most part. So its been more of a problem with freezing temperatures which in some cases have made the Pocket 3 not being able to load up the batteri from the battery handle etc.
great,, could you say the settings please ?? thanks.
Thanks! See the pinned comment!🙂👌
What frame rate did you shoot this ? and did you slow down the frame rate in Editing app ?
Hello! I shot this in 60fps and slowed it down to 25 fps i post 🙂
@@CinematicFilmFather did you find any difference in the quality of video when change frame rate to 25 fps post and shooting in 25fps?
@chemmutk1 No difference, its just a usual workflow really!
What's the song? So beautiful
I will get back to you asap! The song is on artlist, but cant remember the name.. But I use the artist quite alot🙂
Good 👍
Hey, thanks man!👌🙂
wait.. what lense?
Just DJI Pocket 3 in original mode of course🙂
