banjo❓ Oh you must mean guitar. Question! Just wondering if you watched past the intro. There's a little bit of music at the beginning and the ending of the video. The rest of the video, there is none.
Thank you I appreciate that. Fishing is my favorite thing to do. Beautiful scenery beautiful noises and the excitement of the fish splashing on top of the water. I just love it. 😊
hello yank how are you and family you are really catching those nice slabs i like that rod you use i never seen you skunk yet on the water you still have a super show i watched two of your shows you and a fishmans show out of huston tex tell your son im looking foward seening him nail those large bass you had a nice day stay safe bob sims
Me and the family are doing pretty good I hope you're doing good as well. Yes sir I had a great time catching these fish. So much fun. Me and my son have been already talking about going and catching a few together so hopefully he'll be on here to say hello. Sure appreciate you watching. Thank you Bob Sims
These are lookin like the crappie I'm catching on Bull Shoals. Those big old black gold iridescent looking critters. As Momma was on hospice this time last year, all I could get her to eat was those crappie fillets. So needless to say, that's what she got, as often as she cared for em! I caught alot of 14's, a good few 15's, and four or five at 16. All those big winter crappie have been coming on jerkbaits. I can't tell you how many of em hit full size Vision 110 jerkbaits.
@Tbowie13 wow very nice. I wish they got that big down here. I don't see too many black crappie here over 14". That was a very good thing you did for your mother. Last year I helped a friend that was sick and on a strict diet. I would fillet him fish and his wife would make him fish sandwiches and baked fish. He also was on hospice last year. He will be missed.
Your video hit my Feed. I clicked it then tried to hit the pause button due to fishing Bayou type Fishing. I hit the Scroll Button instead where it went to 1:30 where you were adding fish to the cooler and said "Ummmm.. Maybe I want to watch this after all"> WELL DONE. I'm 1 of those 733 Thumbs up. 👍 Those are beautiful Crappie.
Funny thing is everyone says do this to catch more crappie, load your boat with this technique, etc etc, yet where you fish is totally different than 98% of the rest of the country. Only time we find crappie in the shallow areas you fish are during the spawn. Sure we can use slip bobbers, but right now it water temperature is 53 degrees, crappie are still deep and we don't have any areas similar to what you fish.
Well I catch crappie in the shallows all year long in many different lakes. Fish come up to feed. Even in the deep water crappie come up closer to the surface to follow the shad. If the water's deeper all you have to do is use a extra weight about a foot on top of your jig and fish down there in the tops without a bobber. I'm fishing where fish spook real easy so I have to cast to them. Also the males are headed to the shallows right now even at 53° you will find some male crappie in the shallow water. I will fish 18 to 20 inches deep over 6 to 8 ft deep tops and the crappie will come to the top if the water is clear enough. I don't hardly ever fish over 2 ft deep with a bobber unless I take the bobber off. I hope you find and catch some good ones soon.
@@FishYanker yeah like I said, nothing like that here. Crappie right now are around 10-35' deep. I did find a school the other day that the top was around 8' deep. Our shad are way deep also. Until we got the upper 50's will things change. Most of what we fish is reservoirs, the feeding rivers are mostly short or treacherous. Again, different parts of the country, different fishing techniques. But I understand the video titles, you attract subscribers, but rarely do any of therm contain techniques that everyone doesn't already do it apply to every area.
Looks like you were catching without shiners. We never fish with shiners here in south La. Hope you fish more without “help”. Graduate to the diehard artificial gang; it’s more fun. JS 😎
@josephauld6565 I'm pretty sure that's early May. The cypress tree puts on late but I'm not sure about the tupelo's I'll have to look and see when I put the video on
I can't wait till I get the hang of it. Knowing how catch and where to find them. Then the fun would probably be over, lol. The fun part is figuring out how they think..
If I wanted to listen to a banjo playing I would turn on a radio! Cannot stand it especially when you are talking.

Don't think it's a banjo. That's why your irritated don't know your instruments.

Nice.

Nice box of slabs!
Thank you
Man I enjoy your videos at least until I go fishing
😂 well thank you Chuck.
Loved the video! What type of knot did you tie on that jig? I usually tie a lop knot, but I like how your knot looks!
Thank you. I like to use a trylene knot when I'm fishing with a hand tied jig. Mainly so it will sit horizontal in the water like a bait fish.
One of these days when I grow up I'm gonna catchem like that!! Lol!! Great video!!Whats the lake if you don't mind me asking?
Here at Cache River lakes
Ok awesome!!! Thx for the fast reply!!
Yes sir. Thank you
Man,can you do a video of your boat and set up? Would love to see it,and I’m in the market for something like it.
Yes sir. I have a video on my boat. I will try to find the link for you As soon as I get a chance.

Watch and enjoy your videos. One question, off main river or private oxbows? I notice you don't seem to have an outboard.
Off the main river. My boat will roll 4 mile an hour with the two trolling motors but if the river is too strong I can't go upstream.
Thanks for showing us the lures. What line do you use? Thank you.
6.lb test hi-vis Mr. Crappie fishing line
Any swivel or leader?
No but I use a Trilene knot when tying my jig.
Nice haul. I'm in pine bluff arkansas. What location are those monsters .
Thank you, Cache River lakes.

Get you some Crappie Psychic as an add on along with crappie bites. Put dem shiners in a “samwich”. 😂
A lot of the time, I will use crappie bites for sent but it's hard to beat the smell of a real minnow.
I stopped fishing with shiners 7yrs ago, I jig full-time 😅
