This may be the most beautiful house I've ever seen. To think that it is abandoned and that the antiques in it might just decay is heartbreaking. In every room one can feel the love of the family. Thank you for finding this incredible house and taking us along for an explore.
Why doesn’t anyone claim the belongings? Can’t someone purchase this beautiful home with everything in it? It would be a beautiful museum with all that exquisite furniture. You show so much respect for the homes you explore. This home was just incredible! Thank you so much for sharing. Stay safe. ❤️
This happens a lot in France, if there are many children there is often a dispute on property, money etc so under French law everything is left until an agreement can be made. Sometimes the state will just take everything to cover legal stuff and taxes. It is sad but that is France.
The average price in France of furniture pieces shown in this video is actually pretty low, that's why there's lot of stuff left in abandoned places. The most worth objects would be portrait of a man from the first half of 19th century and that chinoiserie piece of furniture worth about couple of hundreds € each.
@@croheritage3d177 to an american like me they look priceless or veryyy expensive. You can tell some of these pieces are very old and very well taken care of.
What a beautiful exquisite home, I really hope someone turns it into a warm and family home again full of happiness, really love the way you explain each item with so much feeling and depth, thankyou
One of my all time favorite "abandoned" videos of all time, and the fact it was untouched made it so special. From the antiques to the floor tiles, rugs, lamps, fireplaces, everywhere you looked was something more beautiful than the last. You have outdone yourselves!
I fell in love with the turquoise porcelain bowl with the gold dragon handles.. how gorgeous.. The little pan is called a silent waiter, for brushing crumbs off the table and not onto the floor. I love time capsule homes, and that orange bathroom I could so love that, carpet and all..
How amazing! Cannot fathom someone would just leave their home. Empty for ten years and no rodents have taken over. Someone should be living in this home. Thank you for the fabulous tour, and your gentleness!
I'm the lady from South Africa that gets so exited when I see a piano, and can't wait to hear you testing the instrument. You have good manners, are respectful of other people's stuff. And not every second word are curse or bad words. I appreciate it very much. THNx
Wow, what a stunning home. Whoever owned it, certainly loved it, as the house is so clean and organised beautifully. I think they may still be there, as there seem to be orbs in the beginning of the video. Definitely my favourite so far, stunning 💖💖
What a wonderful find!! Except the darn cobwebs, this was a clean house! There were wonderful, might I say gorgeous, cupboards that were remarkably designed with class and usefulness. I love when you very carefully respect the beautiful artifacts and items left behind. Your voice is soothing and calming .... a homerun!

The true love you have and respect you show for these amazing buildings is heart warming. I've learned so much. The love for the items inside is noted right down to a pair of womans shoes by a chair. How I would love to be with you and see with my own eyes the wonders you find. Never loose the excitement and respect you show.
What a goldmine! How exciting of a tour of this beautiful home. The gorgeous antique furniture carved with skill and perfection was breathtaking. tx gal You are correct. I have 2 of them. My mother gave me one that her parents used and it is almost exactly the same. . Her parents were born in the 1800’s and were from Canada originally. It even has the little legs on it.

Beautiful job! I really believe 80% of everything in that home belongs in a museum & under the care of professionals to be sure the papers & paintings last a few more generations. So many people would love seeing this. Again, thank you for giving us the privilege of viewing it. Blessings!
Excellent explore of this premium time capsule! As beautiful.as it is, it is also very sad to see such beautiful antiques not being appreciated in a museum or carried forward by perhaps a relative. They have so much value not only monetarily but also of sentimentality.
Absolutely fascinating place, I hope it won’t be torn apart now. Heartbreaking to think such beautiful antique furniture and ornaments just left to rot . Thanks guys stay safe ❤️🙏👍
This house is really a time capsule. Very good to see everything well maintained and still with little dust. It should be noted that it should have been a very rich house at the time. All the details are beautiful! Congratulations on being the first to explore! A big hug my friend.
It is so interesting in a strange way to go through someone's home and be able to look closely at the things that it contains. Homes like this in Europe are so different from houses in Canada. It would be unlikely to find a house like this in Canada with so much furniture and items that speak to a time and are of such quality. Loved seeing it.
Pretty much everything in this house screams pre-WW1 era and culture. That's why you have little chances to see such a place on your side of the big pond.
.....your right - there is nothing like this in Canada! :-/ Just old crappy empty farm houses from the 40's falling down and full of mice and racoons in a wheat field....lol
Canada had the best abandonded house ive ever got to see with my own 2 eyes! Abandonded in 1979 there was a little TINY one bedroom house witha garage with a 1950's car in it! Overgown on all 4 sides with no trace of a driveway ever being there! Got me HOOKED
OMG WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That home is just amazingly gorgeous. LOVE the oriental cabinet. I like oriental touches in my home also. That picture of the young girl is the mother when she was a child. I think maybe someone who knew the family may have locked up all they could. Possibly trying to get it.
The wood furniture is fantastic, that will be worth a lot of money. I’m so pleased you hide the locations as recently there was a lovely find in the uk and then somehow the media got hold of it and then it was badly vandalised. So good for you. Even the “ ordinary furniture “ isn’t that ordinary- big and solid and beautiful. The little pan could be a bed warmer, not sure. That green in bathroom is an old colour probably 60’s. Avocado I think is it’s name. What a gem of a place, I love it 🌹
The notification bell was my alarm clock. What a wonderful way to start my morning! . Thanks Leslie for ‘slithering’ in to show us this magnificent manor.
It’s so beautiful! So nice to see you guys out and about again 👍 It’s just amazing how timeless and elegant these French manors are. Even with layers of dust and cobwebs the quality and charm shines through. Keep going strong guys and all the best to you ☺️
I love this explore. It breaks my heart to know that all those memories are just left behind. It would've been nice to see what was in those locked cabinets.
Thanks so much guys! You are an active part of keeping me sane in these lockdown times. Before I looked forward to your uploads, now they are part of my survival program 😊
This place is breathtaking! 😍 All that antique furniture, details.. the red sofa is beautiful, my favourite. It is so sad that it's being left to decay.. Thank you for this awesome video 🤗 Take care guys 💕
Little pan is crumb catcher when cleaning dining table. I just started watching your channel. I really like that you two are so respectful of the houses and appreciate items at a young age.
That thing at 14:19 is a bed warmer. They put coals from the fireplace. Place it in the clam and put it between the mattress and the sheets. It keeps the chill out during the winter. And you sleep with it. I'm glad this hasn't been vandalized and the cold and humidity hasn't done anything to it.
@Explomo, those pans were made for heating your bed on very cold nights, they would put hot coals inside of them and then they would be placed under the covers down below your feet and keep you warm in bed at night.
I thought this place was the most incredible place you ever visited. It was great you showed us wonderful things. It is a shame no one takes interest in claiming this exquisite place and contents. It must have been wonderful to live there.
Just beautiful! Shame it's left to rot! The home must of been in the family for generations!! Hi Leslie my favorite explorers! Love how you pronounce..... France!!! Cover your head!
That place was amazing. Where’s Remon? I hope he is ok ? I like when you guys are together you guys have chemistry together on your thoughts of a place.
Velvet couch lovely, thick marble, two chairs were covered the tapestry underneath was either damaged or was so costly he covered it, those were hand tooled leather chairs on wood frames... wow. The furniture is very masculine, that is the nicest sounding bell I have ever heard ... so light and clear. The kitchen didn't seem to match the grandeur of the home. I wonder if they typically dined out? The paneling going upstairs was awesome. It looked like they had Oriental or Persian rugs in their home. The chairs in your favorite bedroom may be covered in white flowered silk ... wow. This was a wonderful tour.
My goodness everything in that house is worth lots of money! The furniture is just timeless! I love the old clocks! Gosh I’d move in tomorrow if I could! What a beautiful find!🤗💞
🤔 Frame 10:43 Look at the table covered in dust. looks like a painting was laying there for sometime, and someone RECENTLY removed it. Be careful, SOMEONE ELSE has access to this home, they are probably the ones who locked the cabinets. Love this TIME TYPE OF TIME CAPSULE! And that GORGEOUS RED SOFA!💕💕💕 Front and back doors were not accessible, so there must be another entrance in the basement. This person has the keys to those cabinets, might be the caretaker of the property. But why remove what was on the table? That oven is so beautiful, love the color...😂hahaha I am enjoying your fear of the spiders and cobwebs!🕷🕸🕷🕸🕷🕸🕷
If you look closely, not only something like a painting was removed recently, but there are footprints as well!!! Edited: Shoeprints or footprints not footprints 🤭 As well on the small writing table....something was either removed, but looks more dragged.
Remember Leslie is there too from Brothers of Decay. Before photographing they probably did a cursory explore and removed identifying materials. Leslie is very good at returning those items when finished
Regarding the dust free mark on the table. I thought Maureno may have removed it prior to filming as it probably showed in more detail the location of the house. There were two pictures propped up next to the big cabinet in the room. I bet it was one of those.
I've seen a lot of these kind of video's and have often felt like I've witnessed a burglary but you guys are so respectful of the places you go. It's a beautiful place. Take care. From Wales UK
OMG this was fantastic Maureno. This home in France was so beautiful. I don't see how you ever found this place. The furniture is gorgeous!! Where is the family? What is up with people leaving these homes full of furniture and personal items? Missed Remon. Hope he is ok. Thank you for sharing a wonderful explore. Frank & Barb ❤🇺🇸 stay safe.
At 14:08 I think the little pan is called an ash pan for to put hot coals in or to put ashes from tobacco products in. I am astonished at how many items are made from brass. Who owns this property I wonder?
13:28 something was clearly removed from the table, quite recently 🤔 30:55 very often, if the house is big enough, older couples sleep in separate rooms because one or both of them snore. Maybe younger couples too, I dunno 😁..anywho, that's possibly why two single bedrooms 😊 ...hmm a double too. We may never know. So much to look at in this house that you skipped over because of your uncomfortable relationship with spiders. The orange bathroom...wow...ott. Nice cabinets though. Chow
That little thing in the cabnet you said may be for cooking was actually for dumping ashes from ashtrays into ..it flips open you empty the astray into it as you walk around cleaning..i have one myself that belonged to my parents.. Beautiful house Great find Maureno! Love you guys! ❤
I believe you are probably correct. It had legs on it so it wouldn't come in contact with cloth or wood surfaces if it contained hot ash. Bed warmers had smooth bottoms and long handles to quickly swish between the covers to warm the beds.
Ok..I have had my tour through...wonderful! So glad no one trashed it or even got there before you. Now after looking at the place..what the heck was with all the tables? Must have been very important to them to make time for the family to eat together. Maybe a common dining area for them..and a fancier one (red cushioned chairs ) for company. By the way..its common for dining furniture to have two chairs with arms at each end of the table.. Ours is like that here at home. Armed chairs for the host and hostess. Secondly..maybe you should look at these places as not always standard when it comes to relationships. I say one child..first bedroom with blue drapes. Second floor his and hers bedrooms. The second being hers with his pictures on the walls. Because some people just don't sleep together..
Several generations of furnishing in this mansion, some would delegate some pieces to the attic, but in this home the former owner preferred to be surrounded by possessions.
Wow what beautiful antiques I would be in paradise with those! Such a beautiful home! So glad it hasn’t been vandalized! Thank you for the explore! Stay safe!
Congratulations for finding this old home filled with absolutely gorgeous furnishings!!! What a magnificent discovery!! Thank you Thank you for sharing this experience with us; and for your very skilled videography!!! Love what you do and how you do it!!!

I have to watch again. I so wanted to bring a vacuum and join you. I wondered why first wooden table had a large square without dust on it. This must be rescued! People would pay money to walk through this house! Wonderful find! Thank you for sharing.

The little pan with the lid is called a butler. It was used to put on edge of a table or counter to collect crumbs from falling onto the floor. Before vacuum cleaners it was very nice. You just open the top and brush into it. They are still handy. I use one myself. To have a little piece of history you can handle is very special. I would love to go into one of these places. I could spend a couple of days checking everything out. Thanks for putting these videos on. It’s been a lifetime dream to enter a place like this.
So sad to see all the beautiful old/antiques just rot away. It would be awesome to see how it looked when family lived there. Great video boys. Be careful & stay safe.
The little pan with a hinged lid and little feet (at the 14:27 mark) is called a "Silent Butler". They were used to catch crumbs or cigar ash that was wiped off a table or desk surface.
I have to agree thought they were call a butler and they were normally accompanied by a brush 2 remove crumbs and Ashes from a table. I don't believe anybody would put life Embers under a blanket for fear of catching the house on fire. I believe they used hot water bottles much safer.
Incredible as always. I love how you are so respectful of every place you go to. You are both so amazing. Thank-You So Much. Hope you and your Family are staying safe & healthy.
Yes, sometimes the chance finds along the way are a real stroke of luck. I am absolutely thrilled with this beautiful house. And I keep thinking to myself: "Why is such a great place so deserted?" Either the heirs are fighting or there are none. Totally crazy!

Really enjoyed this explore it always amazes me why no 1 wants or cares about these amazing homes. Keep up the good work 👍 thanx again look forward to next one 😃
The little covered pan at the bottom of the table is a bed warmer/foot warmer. Coals were placed in it and heated. Then, it could be placed under the covers in your bed to give warmth.

That means so much to us! We're happy to keep you sane during these tough times of lockdown. Stay safe & happy
Beautiful music. Just enough. Not too loud. Well done. Beautiful house..
Absolutely a beautiful place and beautiful furniture, vases, clocks, and statues.
Your favorites...curtains and clocks..my favorite is the lights
@Explomo, those pans were made for heating your bed on very cold nights, they would put hot coals inside of them and then they would be placed under the covers down below your feet and keep you warm in bed at night.
I thought this place was the most incredible place you ever visited. It was great you showed us wonderful things. It is a shame no one takes interest in claiming this exquisite place and contents. It must have been wonderful to live there.
Amazing find Moreno! Sad also that it is being left to decay...
And that GORGEOUS RED SOFA!💕💕💕
Front and back doors were not accessible, so there must be another entrance in the basement. This person has the keys to those
cabinets, might be the caretaker of the property.
Ye I so that to the table
I thought the same thing! That random square of no dust on the table was very suspicious
Those bathroom colors were popular in the 70s. Beautiful home.
Everything is so cute. I've loved this tour. Thank you, Explomo and Bros. of Decay, I follow you both.
The lil pan you picked up was actually used as a bed warmer with coals or burnt wood put between sheets or a pillow warmer.
How incredible 😍.
At 14:08 I think the little pan is called an ash pan for to put hot coals in or to put ashes from tobacco products in.
I am astonished at how many items are made from brass. Who owns this property I wonder?
WOW! Mind blown that it is empty! Thanks for another awesome tour!
13:28 something was clearly removed from the table, quite recently 🤔
30:55 very often, if the house is big enough, older couples sleep in separate rooms because one or both of them snore.
Chow
I noticed that also.
The orange bathroom seemed to have been remade pretty recently.
@@julosx I'd say, 1980s...coloured bathroom suites were very popular then 😱
...As well as a hand and butt smudge in the dust on the left inside the dining room 😝
@@tatertott2390 at what time stamp
That little thing in the cabnet you said may be for cooking was actually for dumping ashes from ashtrays into ..it flips open you empty the astray into it as you walk around cleaning..i have one myself that belonged to my parents..
Beautiful house
Great find Maureno!
Love you guys! ❤
I believe you are probably correct. It had legs on it so it wouldn't come in contact with cloth or wood surfaces if it contained hot ash. Bed warmers had smooth bottoms and long handles to quickly swish between the covers to warm the beds.
The pan you saw is a bed warmer. You put embers inside, then put it in the bed. Great video as always.
Hello Explomo, youre correct its so amazing that it is indeed not touched and no vandalized...the furnitures are great
Wow what beautiful antiques I would be in paradise with those! Such a beautiful home! So glad it hasn’t been vandalized! Thank you for the explore! Stay safe!
What a beautiful home full of lovely antiques. Thanks for sharing this video. Brilliant!!
Congratulations for finding this old home filled with absolutely gorgeous furnishings!!! What a magnificent discovery!! Thank you Thank you for sharing this experience with us; and for your very skilled videography!!! Love what you do and how you do it!!!
Love the video. A great find. As always love how you show respect to the property and the owners. And glad you didn’t disclose the location of this home. Your smile and happiness is really refreshing and makes watching your videos so peaceful. Best of luck with your explorations!
I have to watch again. I so wanted to bring a vacuum and join you. I wondered why first wooden table had a large square without dust on it. This must be rescued! People would pay money to walk through this house! Wonderful find! Thank you for sharing.
Obrigado Maureno
I thought embers were put in there & it was used to warm your feet! Another type on a long stick was used to warm the bed before u get in.
I have to agree thought they were call a butler and they were normally accompanied by a brush 2 remove crumbs and Ashes from a table. I don't believe anybody would put life Embers under a blanket for fear of catching the house on fire. I believe they used hot water bottles much safer.
Fantastic video! I really appreciate how you take your time and focus on every detail. Excellent abandoned house tour!!
Incredible as always. I love how you are so respectful of every place you go to. You are both so amazing. Thank-You So Much. Hope you and your Family are staying safe & healthy.
What an amazing house!! Sad that all that beautiful furniture is still left there unclaimed!!
Yes, sometimes the chance finds along the way are a real stroke of luck. I am absolutely thrilled with this beautiful house. And I keep thinking to myself: "Why is such a great place so deserted?" Either the heirs are fighting or there are none. Totally crazy!
Thanks for a very interesting tour - happy you found this place. Good job!
You found this fascinating place yourself Maureno! I do understand your are proud. You and the Bro’s must keep it very very secret.
It’s one of your best locations!
Beautiful home and you did a great job of documenting it. Thank you for sharing all your adventures with everyone!
Yes, thanks. I wanted to say this, too.
What a gem. This gramma loves sharing your travels. Greetings from Wisconsin,USA
Thank you very much for sharing! Greetings from the Netherlands Trudy :-)

Thank you. I just so want to spend a week in there cleaning all the web's and dust away, shine the wood to it's glory. Did you try the lights and wate.
Excellent find! The furniture was fabulous. I particularly loved all of the fashion plates (drawings) of historic fashion. I very much enjoyed this episode. ❤
