Glad that you finally put a proper review of this TV. Honestly, ever since the QN90B, the different between Samsung 43-50 inches and 55-65 inches are just so massive they should have been listed as a seperate product altogether.
Still, though if it's similar to QN90B 43 inches from last year I kinda have skepical. That TV has terrible blooming - especially in game mode where you actually need to use it as a monitor, has piss poor viewing angle, and one of the slowest response time you can find on any high end VA LCD, and not well tune for its max 144 refresh rate with a higher input lag on top of everything.
Unless you want to use that TV as productivity/gaming (and not the creative kind of productivity - just for open multiple windows at once or text processing), then I really can't see why anyone should by this over the C2 42 inches OLED

I have the 50-inch version of the QN90B and I absolutely love it. I don't see any blooming in my dimly lit room environment, which I easily noticed on my last FALD LCD TV. Blacks look deep and inky, and there's also much better shadow detail than my LG CX. Motion and color are also much better on my QN90B than on my LG CX. Honestly, the QN90B just blows away the CX overall.
And I had the C2 briefly but sent it back because it was only a small improvement over my CX. It still had most of things I don't like about the CX.
So from my perspective the QN90B is a much better television and a much better buy.

@@cyberedge881 Hmn I only have Q90A to compare, and yes they do have fairly noticeable blooming (in a more challenging scenes)
I do agree though that I was quite prefer it over the CX, but they kind of trading blows a lot of the times. In the end it's the ghosting and viewing angles that set me more towards C2 and not exactly the HDR performance

I have QN90B. I use it in my office as a second monitor, streaming and TV. I don't do gaming. I'm very pleased with it. Maybe I'm not as picky but I don't see any blooming. It supports ATSC 3.0 so it works great as a TV. At the time it was the only small TVs to support ATSC 3.0.

Also, kinda disappoint that they went ADS this year for the higher end QN90B model. I think VA mini-LED with Wide Viewing Angle layer is just the ultimate form of LCD HDR display. ADS and IPS are just going to have more blooming even with 1000+ zones. And again, you can't always rely on FALD algorythm since you will also need game mode

Hey KG I erased my comment once I realized someone asked the same question but I didn’t realize you responded to it. Thanks for the response man. I think I’m going to go with the 43 inch QN90C over the QN90B because of your recommendation. I’ve had an entry level Samsung for years and I’m excited to get a TV that does 4k/120hz because I’m about to get a PS5. OLEDs concern me because of burn in and I know the Sony X85K has resolution issues with 4k/120hz so I think the QN90C is the right choice. Thanks for your help man. Keep up the good work.

Some people say that the va panel of the QN90B 43 inch is not that good so there is ghosting and text smearing. Also the va panel of 43 inch Samsung Neo g7 monitor is very bad and that monitor has a lot of ghosting and text smearing.
    I want to ask you:-
    1) How is the va panel of the QN90C 43 inch compared to the va panel of the other 2 screens that I mentioned?
    2) Is it true that QN90B 43 inch has ghosting and text smearing?
    3) Does the QN90C 43 inch have ghosting and text smearing?

I have the 50 inch QN90B and it's an absolute beast. I'm seriously impressed with it. I have many top end TVs (Pioneer Pro-101FD, Panasonic VT60, LG CX, etc) and this QN90B is the first modern TV that really feels like a leap forward. It's what a modern 4k, HDR display should be, IMO.
I almost didn't buy it because it seems very trendy to crap on mini-LED TVs and put OLEDs on a pedestal, which almost convinced me to stay away. I'm glad I listened to my gut, though, and took a chance on the QN90B.

I ended up getting the QN90B 43 on special. It’s not bad but I think because I bought an a80j prior to this it’s ruining it for me slightly. The colours seem washed out on HDR and I can notice the ghosting a bit when playing RE4. I guess that’s the VA side of it. It’s still ok, I’ll just have to get used to it.
The Sports Game Picture mode really is the best in the Game settings for HDR games. Set gamma back down 2 and brightness to 32. It’s the closest this thing gets to looking like an OLED. Dimming to High. Contrast to High.

My calibrated QN90B next to my calibrated plasmas has a very similar look in terms of the colors, which is not the case with my CX. I'm pretty sure this has something to do with color purity in RGB spectrum (measured in spectral power distribution) and in color brightness.

So disappointed. The IPS-like panels on the other models check all the boxes for me. I really don't understand why they did this to the smaller TVs.
Wondering if the QN85 has the IPS panel? Also concerned about the BGR pixel layout. The larger sizes have RGB and IPS panel. Much better all around for what I need it for.

The problem is that people who routinely watch 4:3 and 1.85:1 and beyond content like me are going to get burn-in with an OLED no matter how careful they are and how obsessive they are in running the algorithms and trying to "equalise" the wear over the entire pixel area. Such people really only have two choices - the Samsungs or go to a laser projector.

That's laughable. I've been completely disappointed in my CX ever since I got it, and i even got a C2 hoping things had improved, but they really hadn't improved much. So I decided to take a chance on the QN90B. To my utter shock it turns out that it blows my CX out of the water. Black levels are nigh indistinguishable in my dimly lit room, while color reproduction and motion are much better on the QN90B. HDR is so much better on the QN90B it's absurd. I couldn't believe it. I've never been an LCD fan. And it turns out I don't like the way WRGB OLEDs look either. But this QN90B looks incredible to my eyes.
