If you look closely you will notice the screen will light up when something like the angler pass by or when you see the yellow arrows with a foot print signaling your or a wall dweller’s foot steps.
There's a better PSS in that room. On the other side of that shelf there is a box with a small space net to it you can crouch in where you don't have to walk as far and it's pande safe.

i think if u positioned urself crouching and looking down directly behind the box at the shelf u might have survived bc u hid in a corner there wasn’t something directly blocking ur hitbox

We didn't really know how to play it was like our first 5 runs but one of use had seen UA-cam gameplay so he knew pandemonium could pathfind to you. He was telling everyone to hide and I'm just like bro I'm in a side room it's safe (cos I've played doors and never heard of pandemonium) everyone else panics in a locker. I walk to a lower level of the side room behind a wall and don't get spotted by pandemonium. D-rank on my first pande encounter.

The smaller shelves in pressure actually have a single hitbox which pande can't see through. I believe these ones however do not.
