Thank you so much for this. I am currently in Nift delhi. I have to make my portfolio and just wanted to clear some doubts. If i take my theme as sunset, so do i use only shades of orange or yellow? Or can i , incorporate some floral patterns or anything? Please do reply❤️

Hello didi, A portfolio doesn't have to be a collection of papers... right? I mean, can I use my blog or UA-cam channel (this one DIY Craftopedia) which is a collection of DIY tutorials on various creative arts like painting techniques, candle making, home decor ideas, etc...as my Portfolio...?

Being a fashion designing student i think getting ur portfolio spiral binding kills it. That's not at all a good way to present your work it must be a hard or perfect binding and i also noticed that ur work is good but it's too much happening on each page i hardly can focus on something. You should work on ur layouts.
It is so inspirational 😍.... I love those kids wear, that page you said has become yellowish is also awesome.. it feels like summer... and that men's jacket 😵 so creative.. love your work... can't wait to get admission in NIFT 💙💚💛💜

Hello ma'am.. I am a little confused when you said follow a strict theme. So for example.. if I have different projects, I have to use the same theme in the layouts that I used in my 1st project or I can change it according to my projects? This is really confusing.. hope you can help me out.

Sonia Mehra yes you do for most fashion schools- and if the school doesn’t require one, that’s probably a sign of a lower quality school

I'm a NIFT student and no doubt it's a best fashion institute of India
bhavna shinde hey, you see, I don’t know about schools in India, so that’s my bad, but I didn’t say all schools are bad that don’t require one- but if they don’t, you really have to make sure it’s a good one, cuz most of the time they aren’t. But I’m happy you’re having a great experience 😊
