@@scottthomas57 it all depends on how you shoot. If you don’t mind carrying the extra weight and more bulk but want a steadier lean then go the tripod but the hyperpod 3 is very portable and compact and still an excellent rest for what it is.

While you started out as a really interesting channel all about getting rid of invasive animals you are rapidly descending into an infomercial channel. You can't get through a single video now without mentioning your scope and manufacturer, your hunting stand, your light, your rifle, your jacket and so on often in the same video. You've become seduced by the free products and income and have become a shill. It's OK to have a sponsor and to give them a mention but you don't know when to stop.
Thanks for your opinion mate. This is actually what I originally intended the channel for. At the start I didn’t mention what I was using and the amount of people that were always asking the same questions I now make the effort of mentioning what I’m using especially if I really love it. And I don’t mind advertising for a product if it is a benefit to what I do and if someone watching can benefit from it as well. You are entitled to your opinions and I can’t please everyone. So I run the channel the way I have always intended to and if people don’t like it then they don’t have to watch it. But I know there are a lot of people that do really like it.
This looks like a great tripod. I converted my bog pod to Arco Swiss and will never change back to a clamp.

I’ve had a very similar one for a while and they’re a good tripod.
A trigger release version would be very handy
