Honestly, don't rate turkington or hill as highly compared to ingram or sutton. Why do the commentators love to ramble on about turkington and act like he's the best driver on the grid? Sutton and Ingram are doing miracles with the cars they have. Hill was a ghost prior to this year and suddenly he's a championship contender? The commentators love to play down the narrative of BMW being the fastest car. We've seen time and time again however that Ingram and most definitely Sutton can beat and finish ahead of Turkington in slower cars.
Number 1 hill is in the same exact car as turks and so compared to last year ofc he is performing better since the BMW is better than the focus yet still turks is 20+ points ahead of hill. Number 2 turks is ultra consistent and rarely makes mistakes. Being a 4x champion isn’t easy and so he deserves the praise he gets
Tingram has also never won a championship and when against turkington in fairly evenly matched cars in 2018 turkington prevailed. Going onto ash he’s the only one who yes has beat turkington in maybe an inferior car that being the 2020 Infiniti and 2017 Subaru
I’m no fan of Turkington but you have to admit he’s done very well to still be competitive year in year out for 20 years, beating drivers who weren’t even born when he started racing in the BTCC.
@@tees6675 All im saying is that turkington is overrated, hill isn't a championship calibre driver if we're being honest, now there's a gap that's forming and becoming more visible between the BMWs and the rest of the field. Sutton won championships in different cars; Turkington is too scared to have strong teammates, otherwise his rep goes down. Turkington bottled it in 2020, 2021, 2017 and has been destroyed by teammates and drivers in similar machinery like Shedden, Neal, was even beaten by most of his teammates; Reid, Howell and Muller. Since then he's just been a bmw merchant unable to win in the fastest car half the time
@@tees6675 BMW was the best car at managing the weight and here you are saying that the toyota ingram had was better. Hybrid use this year is benefitting BMW more than ever; funny how so many rules seem to benefit BMW more than any other manufacturer, then again they did lose the title twice in the past 2 years
Finally something I can follow like my daily driver!
Agree about the music, someone trying to hard. Just let's hear the racing, screeching and commentary
Is there a place we can watch a proper race video outside of the uk? This is 4 minutes of talking and a couple of seconds of racing.
Love the racing, hate the music. Would love it if you would not put it into the videos!

The trouble with BTCC is it's an awfully white dominated sport!
Racist.
@@IIIErebusIII it sure is..😉
