O&A are ten times better then howard.

Howard is a weird guy, these guys are as close to blue collar as high paid radio guys get.
Not wanting cameras in the studio was such a missed opportunity. Who cares if everyone else did in. Everyone else did it because it worked.
It's mind boggling to me that any radio show in the 21st century, let alone one as archived as well and O and A has almost no video documenting it.
Honestly I just wish O&A fkn had cameras on ... missed out. QHo gives a fuck if Howard is doing it? Such a non-issue.
What's crazy is this is actually the format for most UA-cam videos now.

I think opie and Anthony both meshed perfectly in this one..
Could be because they had a shared experience to talk about. Their lack of actual off show dynamic fucked them. It takes too much energy to fake it.
They meshed well but not perfectly. Opie stepped on Ant's toes quite a few times while Ant was trying to keep a story that happens a thousand times a day in Hollywood entertaining for 2 hours.
Hold on hold on ant. Keep talking but dont tell anything while i find an email. Save the good part for me.

After that meeting bombed, I can just picture the production company guy sitting in his rank studio apartment (littered with weeks old pizza boxes and moldy Chinese carryout cartons) on a threadbare couch with a case of shitty beer, staring blankly at the DVD menu of Jackass: The Movie and trying not to cry.

This used to be one of my favorite O&A stories on here. But now that I know Opie's lack of self control when it comes to lying in his stories and Anthony's willingness to whole heartedly go along with the lie I just can't listen to this and not think that everything in it is highly exaggerated to the point of being untrue. It's sad, but that's what happens when you can't trust someone who pathologically lies.

@@goldholder2460 Except when he constantly says things like "this show is real", and the brand of the show is built on that concept and has been the catalyst for attracting viewers then he kinda does Sorry Bud.
Anyway, what probably happened is O and A got involved with a small production company, they pitched a show at A and E and it got politely turned down, as most shows pitching to major networks do. Opie didn't mention the production company because otherwise he would have had the absolutely shit sued out of him.

I believe an "airable pilot" is a full-on polished production with graphics, music, etc. that can be shown on TV.

I personally believe the real reason that they didn't have cameras in the studio is because it probably would have been about a month until Jimmy was arrested from the evidence it provided of his activities in that building

an un-airable pilot is one made just for execs & a test audience,where as an airable show will be played to the full television network audience,i.e,you & I

In literally 2 minutes I thought of a better show, Debaucherous Jobs, it's basically Dirty Jobs but prostitutes, drugs, alcohol, etc. The kicker is O and A take different jobs, one gets the real job, the other does a comedy skit with Norton, Patrice, etc.

He did have a show based around his brother's car dealership on the History Channel where he did some other things but it was very pointless and boring... and he inexplicably wore the same shirt every episode. Complete failure.
Not anymore. Mancow is back doing morning drive here in Chicago on one of the lowest rated classic rock stations. Basically back to his "TURD?" type shit and "phone scams" every five minutes. Ridiculously unlistenable.

To be fair, the concept of nothing being accomplished at the end of the show is great. Perfect for these guys, whose whole show has absolutely no redeeming qualities and always punches down at the easiest targets. Shit, I should have pitched it.
