I like that Dom knew this was bullshit. Why would terrorists be on the verge of carrying out another major plot and kill themselves? If they didn't kill themselves, someone else did, which means someone else also knew what was being planned and is on the loose.
another thing is they didnt use the keyboards from what was shown, they could have forensics check the desktop and would see no evidence of them even weiting the exploit, these would take awhile and if forensics came back and said that there were almost no DNA of theirs at the scene, well
The blood splattered on the keyboards would have plenty of DNA. The dark army are meticulous enough to have planted prints to if that needs to be a detail you require

its not very common in open countrys where you can video tape and use internet with no restrictions but in countrys where internet is censored this 100% still happens
It's brilliant how this scene plays with the Kuleshov effect, using it to create subversion. In the end we almost feel cheated, but then we remember we had no one to blame but ourselves for presuming the scenes were happening simultaneously. And this is maybe not even in the top 10 best moments of the show!

I remember watching this realizing it isn't taking place at the same time because it's late afternoon in one and evening in the other but I couldn't help but hope Mobley and Trenton would be saved.

trenton and mobley were my favourite characters cause of how normal they were. i was so happy when i saw they were back in an episode but as soon as they were in the news i realised what was going to happen to them and i was in denial praying anything else would happen until it showed their bodies.
Okay I was engrossed in the show from the first season. However, season three is what made me realize I was watching some of the greatest television ever created.
This scene doesn't get as much hype as some of the others but it's just as good as anything in this show. The split timelines, the acting by trent and mobley, and of course the big reveal at the end that they're too late and the patsy plan was successful

I might be way off base here but I think this is what causes Leon to turn on the Dark Army later on in the show. You can tell that he actually liked Mobley and Trenton quite a lot and was genuinely hoping that his bosses would treat them well. They never really explained why Leon was willing to turn on Whiterose's second in command in the barn and why he goes freelance later but I would imagine this would be at least a big part of the reason.

And I think a very good explanation for that departure to freelance, (bc remember they made a point of telling us on the show that Leon was only NOW a freelance and was no longer a dark army operative) is that he was pissed at how Trenton and Mobley got treated after he had spent some time getting to know them.

This scene depicts the world and society we live in for sure a very powerful scene where the shawfer betrayed and handed over them who didn't deserve to die but at the end of the series thr shawfer had changed and given up deals but the damage had being already done. I think the bitter truth of society is clearly brought through in this scene

I've seen artists draw revolvers with the barrel coming out of the middle of the cylinder instead of the top. I've seen videos where they render the muzzle flash on a shotgun in front of the magazine tube instead of in front of the barrel. There's a reason people involve technical experts in their films. When you make this big of a mistake, it destroys the immersion of anyone who notices it.
Pretty sure I caught them flagging each other a couple times, too. Ironically, there's a scene with two mere Dark Army goons (and Grant) busting into Elliott's apartment and unlike these clearly non-elite units, they do it really well, covering angles effectively, one of them is pointing his gun safely to the ground just for a second when crossing behind his colleague to a different position, trigger discipline yadda yadda, looks real good.

May be receiving function has defined it as a string to identify the service as well, because not necessarily a port is used by same services in different systems they were targetting.

I always see comment praising him as some great character, but he has absolutely no depth, and as he says his only god is the "almighty paper" ... I disliked his more than almost any character in the show
There's a lot I like and don't like about this show. I often felt like the writing and editing was set to dupe viewers such as this scene. Creating this suspense and expectation that the FBI was going to save them but you get tricked into finding out it's too late. This show often did "Gotcha!" moment type twists which ultimately caused me to not enjoy the show as much. There were a lot of scenes and moments that were so good until the twist and weren't better because of it. A twist should enhance the pre-existing narrative, not undermine it.

Use of the night vision adds such an original detail - - and it’s heartbreakingly eerie to see them like that before we see grim grim detail.
