What would your message to be to someone who wants to quit?
Don't!
We love you. God loves you. The Savior loves you. We can’t have the joy without the sorrow, so don’t let go. It’s will “always” be worth it.
Quit what? The church? Life?
You never know what lies around the corner, so never give up. No one is promised to have an easy life, we are going to have hurdles, however we are promised joy too.
I have a step-daughter whom I love. However, the caustic, corrosive, spirit-crushing relationship with her mother drove me one mornnig to writing THE NOTE, loading the pistol, and heading out the door that I might take my life where my kid wouldn't see the mess. As my hand touched the door knob, that precious still, small voice whispered, "She may need you tomorrow."
So I unloaded the pistol, put it back in the safe, tore up the note, and got back in the game.
My precious young one, there's no maybe to it; someone WILL need you, whether tomorrow or further down the road, and when that happens, you will know that you have cleaned and dressed the wound in another's soul. Then The Holy Spirit will clean and dress your wounds, and bandage them in wraps of love and comfort.
So DON'T YOU DARE QUIT! As my old Texas mama used to say, you just bow up your neck, back your ears, and get it done!
My message to someone who want's to quit...Just remember Jesus Christ didn't quit on you. We owe him that, so his sacrifice wasn't in vain. It is always easier to quit because it is you, by yourself. To go on is to have Christ in your life.
Was in a bad place just now. I'm not feeling spirit. I'm so thankful for the song. It change my perspective my feelings . thank you . THANK you for" don't let go" you too held on to share that message of the Savior and Lord Jesus Christ
The Innocence of these young people is so beautiful, so faith-inspiring that there are such young people on this earth. Because they are here and I see them, I feel them, I KNOW the Savior will win this war we are now involved in. He always wins you know. And He brings with Him His children who are like these young people--pure and undefiled and clean--I was glad to be in their ranks as a young missionary way back in my younger days. I have never at any time violated the Law of Chastity. I cannot. It is not in my nature to do that. Going to the altars of the Temple, PURE and clean, to be married as our LORD has ordained we should be, to raise a passel of children to the Glory of the Lord Jesus Christ and to be numbered among the Citizens of His Superlative Kingdom, even ZION. And if a person has made some bad decisions in the past, he or she can be CLEAN every whit, made PURE and clean by the Atonement of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. There can be no greater blessing than this--as if the sin never happened. And for that, I rejoice in the reality of the Central Gospel Message--that Jesus the Messiah came here and opened the way for us ALL to be made pure and clean, sufficient to stand in the very Presence of God, the Father Himself. What an incredible Gospel we've been given!!!
This Sunday I will be returning to Church. After I been an less active member.

Today was my second time back which was fast and testimony. I be working next weekend but they know at Church anyways.

Brings tears to my eyes just like the gentri version. Holidays are rough on me due to the loss of my parents. Its hard for me want to go to Church on Sundays during November and December. The Sister Missionaries in the Ward that i am apart of reached out to me. I need to set up an appointment with them even if its an phone appointment.
Truly beautiful and emotional. So many times we all reach up to God for comfort and He is ALWAYS there. Thanks Elders and Sisters for this wonderful testimony!
