If Mikheyev finds his scoring touch, that trade can be a steal. Last year he was snake bit and went 61 games with out a goal, with a shooting % of 7%, down from 14%. Vancouver is not in a position to see if he has a bounce back season. But he has World class speed and with Teavo and Martinez on the PK, it will give Hawks a huge upgrade there.
Start Luvshenov in Rockford. Depending on how he does they can bring him up at the end of the season for a few games. There's no need to rush any prospect. Don't be surprised if Korchinski spends time in Rockford this year.
T.J. Brodie will be fine as a 3rd pairing on a rebuilding team acting as a place holder until the Prospects are ready.
