- Godzilla fever is at an all time high with the newly released Godzilla Minus One, the Apple TV show Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, and the new Legendary Godzilla & Kong team up movie Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire coming out in the spring.
Here, we take a quick tour of the Godzilla Store Tokyo, located in Shinjuku. If you're a kaiju fan (you know I am) or just someone into cool Japanese things, this video is a good take on what is there and whether it's worth stopping by.

this is really interesting, I get the feeling that in Japan collecting Godzilla is a hobby in its own right., great enjoyable vid again, thanks for sharing.
Yeah, collecting kaiju toys and goods goes back to the 1950s here. There are some great tin toy Godzilla figures from that era. But to have companies dedicate themselves to the genre is great. Wish these types of figures were available to me when I was a kid. Thanks for checking it out!

All of them? Probably not but some will be. The ones there now, aside from the store exclusives which came out in November and February, the other ones have been there for a bit I think.

Found this store by accident last week when visiting Surugaya in Shinjuku. I'm not a big Godzilla guy. Love the character, grew up watching some of the old school movies, but know very little about Godzilla lore. Still, I really want the S.H. Figuarts Godzilla Minus One figure. They are selling for silly prices on Mercari, though.
I’ve been sick for days with the flu which has kept me from getting it. Very disappointed.
When i went there to visit my grandparents again I was looking for a Sh monsterarts 1954 and when we walked in we all thought this store was pretty disappointing for the advertising lol

Fun Fact: I been there with my dad in early 2020. I was 12, such a great holiday. My dad used to live in Japan for seven years. He showed me he’s life there, where he used to live, and crazy stories. He even met killer whale and almost become a was.
Tokyo has given us sooooooo many stories. Greatest city in the world.

Do you know if they sell Hiya figures there? If not, do you know where I can find some in Tokyo?
They do not. I don’t recall seeing any Hiya figures on the shelf anywhere in Tokyo. I get mine from online sellers who sell them straight from China/HK. The prices are usually the same or a little lower than Big Bad Toy Store sells for.
Do they sell any SH or HIYA Godzilla figure?
No they don’t. I’ve only seen HIYA in a few shops here. SHM is pretty easy to find all around Tokyo

Shops? Go to the Tamashii Nations store in Akihabara for MonsterArts. Also, in Akihabara, hit up Jungle, Mandarake, Yellow Submarine in Radio Kaikan, and Uchusen also in RK
Nakano Broadway has a bunch of shops you can check out. Walk around the complex.

No. No blurays at all
They dont sell those xplus statues right?
I don’t recall ever seeing them here but I believe they do on their website.
