Why can Sean McVay and Stafford magically end up on an island together in a hot tub before they trade for him, but Daboll couldnt guarantee Russel Wilson he would beat Jones out in a "competition" ?

DeVito must have beat out Lock. Which is huge miss by Schoen. Schoen had chance at Taylor, Wilson, Fields, Winston, and Darnold and we got Lock, who couldn't beat out DeVito. Fan excitement would only factor if Lock and DeVito very close to even. Schoen and Daboll need to show competent play on field esp in prime time on Thanksgiving.

I just don’t have trust in Schoen or his player personnel department to acquire talent that has impact for this team. I don’t blame him for the Evan Neal pick but he drafts for need and has drafted poorly outside of this year. His first two drafts we have one kinda good player. He has a good draft this year and his FA class this year looks good but before that meh. I’m afraid he will take a QB from this upcoming class to save his job and in reality the upcoming QB draft class would be the fourth QB or less in last draft on the board. I fear in three years we’ll be in the same place again.

And in that game, one of the last throws he made was a perfect pass over the middle to Waller which should have been a TD, but Waller dropped it....Also do not forget, in one of those wins, he won it despite Barkley making a huge mistake....DeVito bailed Barkley out.

Guys, I know Tommy has limitations, but he wasn’t the SIXTH PICK IN THE DRAFT! He may not push it down field as much, but hopefully he added some things to his arsenal and he will at least change the energy in the stadium.
You likely know this: Drew Luck has incentive clauses, over and above his guaranteed $5 million. The giants don’t have the money to pay them ( see Nick McCloud exit ). So Schoen has not improved the financial situation at all.
Nick actually scared the crap out of me with asking "what's it say about the Giant's ability to evaluate quarterbacks?" with regard to Drew Lock getting passed over. Because this is technically the 2nd reminder of that ineptitude on the very same day. And now we're headed into an offseason, where they might force a QB draft selection to save their jobs. Yikes!

Eli was replaced too soon, considering DJ couldn't operate offense. If u have to change to a 1/2 field offense you don't sit your HOF QB.
