The Musical Theater Songwriting Challenge (National Endowment of the Arts and the American Theatre Wing) is a national competition for high school students who have a passion for writing songs that could be part of a musical theater production. The finalists were chosen by review panels of professional theater artists in a blind competition from almost 200 applications submitted by students in 36 states. #iwritemusicals

The only thing I'd have done differently would be to not attempt expressing what the song itself was about, or was expressing in it's melody. I am truly blown away for the originality of it. I know you've been told that you sound a little like Alanis Morrissette!
