At 1:20:10 you could have sent the Arrakis Liaison to Carthag and gotten an Intrigue card that could have given you a VP at the end or more swords to the combat and you could have sent a troop like you wanted. Making Beast and Helena discard and not get their VP with The Spice Must Flow, although enjoyable, did nothing to you because they were 4 VP behind at that point and we did not know if Leto has Endgame Intrigues that could potentially make him take the victory.
@@bludgeontv understandable hahaha! I've been watching your videos recently and have learnt strategies from you and your viewers, and I also try to see/analize what the best move could be while watching you play 😃
I bought the physical game and was playing solo, sometimes managing to enlist my girlfriend, that's when i came across you and bought the digital version. I hope one day i come across you in one of my games! Edit: Question i did not understand why did you not go Highliner at at around the 1hour 22m, you could have gotten the vp from the faction and deploy troops into the conflict it would also draw the card from the fold space and still secure you a spice must flow card, not to mention leaving you opportunities still for mentad, research station etc, you could also still visit a orange space to get more spice for your combat cards and secure victory
Hey, thanks for watching! I talk through my reasoning about not going to Heighliner starting at around 1:09:46 - Basically winning 2 Influence doesn't do anything for me in that spot so it's a waste of 6 Spice that I might need for a tiebreaker. Also, going to Foldspace makes it much harder for Leto to get the Guild Alliance.
“I got my mom on my team, if I can get my dad on team, it will be great”😂😂😂
But which dad? Adoptive or biological? 😄

You make a good point! Your suggestion probably would have been safer/smarter, but I just couldn't resist.
