I just thought this was a fun, really easy show to watch as a kid. But now I can sort of understand why it freaks people out a bit lol. It definitely has an atmosphere doesn't it? Nocturnal and shadowy, quite spooky at times. Unique, but still brilliant
To be fair this programme was based on a stage play.

Miss pepper is probably my favourite character. Although I do enjoy cuckoo as a foil. Sleek is a fairly amusing villain too.

I remember I used to own a VHS of some episodes of this show. Fisher-Price released it here. I remember finding it at my local thrift store when I was young lad. I have fond memories of it, although in hindsight I can see why some would find this creepy.

When I was in nursery, they brought out a telly just before home time, we either watched peppa pig or this
I never got to see this as a child. I was born 1992 when I was finally old enough to see something like this the programs started to change style and the way they where made, so now as an adult living on my own, I am now trying to find the old classics I never got to watch. PS I have found and watched the animals of farthing woods to get me started.
When they say "the big ones" and you can hear the big one that always creeps me out when I was a kid.
