GENIUS--- Setting the "ideal" for the week and then doing the work day by day and adjusting for LIFE just COMPLETELY flipped a switch for me! Love these videos, can't wait for Wednesday!🥰🥰🥰
I took the HB90 bootcamp in March. I’m far from perfect with checking in with my planner but the things I Iearned have helped me organize all the things I need to do. To keep track of small tasks that tend to fall through the cracks. I’m moving forward very slowly but making progress none the less. Love my new life!
I have a kanban board, which is a large white board. I separated the sections with blue painter's tape. I also laminated a bunch of colored index cards cut into thirds and put magnetic tape on the backs, so they can be re-used. All my blanks cards are kept in a small container. I just use a dot of hand sanitizer and a microfiber cloth to erase them when it's needed.
Thank you for this video! I’ve been using your HB90 and Kanban board method for two quarters now, and I absolutely adore it. I’ve never gotten so much done before, and I love how visual and flexible it is. I tried bullet journaling in the past but could never stick with it because the simplest spread took me hours. With the HB90 method, it’s as if you had reached inside my brain, found exactly the productivity spreads I needed, and brought them to life. And then the goal setting walkthroughs on top of that??? I’m not exaggerating when I say that this whole system has changed my life. That being said, I do still struggle with the time estimation and tracking piece, so I loved getting to see how you use those beginning weekly spreads. And I’m very much looking forward to seeing how you track your actual time spent as well. Thank you so much for all of this! This method is revolutionizing and breathing new life into my writing career!
And this is why I canno't wait for the energy and inspiration of HB90 in the next few weeks... also, I am now inspired all the more to get my office sanctuary up and running the way I need to be. Thank you for sharing this information!
I have a friend who has rebel tendencies, and he is still highly productive through the use of lists. From what I saw though, he limited the length of his lists. E.g., Rather than listing every task, he would limit himself to listing only the next ten important tasks, all of which would be very small and easy to accomplish (on top of being directly connected to moving a specific goal forward).
I love this and the task blocks. I think where I get derailed is not so much in the planning but in the actual execution of those plans. How do you make sure you have the follow-through?
She has said she got custom frames made to the size to suit what she wanted then used contact paper to cover the insert cardboard. Washi tape to divide the sections. She has used lots of different boards over the years... At one point she used a double layer of kraft paper taped up on the wall with painters tape/frog tape/masking tape. She has a playlist of the evolution of her kanban board. Blessings, Dot
Loved this! What brand are the sticky notes? I can never get mine to stick properly, and I'm so impressed how you're moving yours and they'restill up so well!
I got the sticker sleeves on Amazon! The ones I got don't seem to be for sale anymore, but they are 4 pockets of 4" x 5 1/2 " each. These look the same: amzn.to/3aGs6hZ
I just purchased the planner last night! I'm too late for the Boot Camp this quarter, but that's okay... it'll give me time to play around with all the different sections and figure out what works for me and what doesn't. I'm happy to see I've been on the right track... I keep a monthly calendar for my entire fam, and I do a weekly spread to clarify my own schedule for the coming days. Finally, I keep my daily pages in a composition notebook (because I need it to be cheap and ugly enough that I don't mind scrawling sloppy notes and scratching things out LOLOL). So now it's just a matter of incorporating your methods into my system. I don't have the wall space for those gorgeous kanban boards, so instead I'm gonna Frankenstein something out of my Happy Planner stash... which reminds me! Do you recommend any particular sticky notes? The ones I have don't stay put! Okay, sorry for the ramble. I love your books, I love your channels, I love your enthusiasm, I love your planny ways! Thanks for giving so much back to your fans and followers, Sarra! You are absolutely the bee's knees!
So I have the HB90 Planner download from Etsy, but where did you get the daily and the weekly sheets? Did you print them or buy them and combine it with the HB90 planner (or am I missing something, haha)? I love your set up and I want to try something similar!
Hi Kayla. First off, I find it interesting that I was talking to someone in my dream last night named Kayla, then here you are in the comments. Remember to breathe. From there, take it one step at a time. If nothing else, start with a To Do list, prioritize the items on the list, then designate days in the week you think best suits getting them done. I hope you'll join us for HB90. An amazing program that helps our hyperactive mind. Trust me... mine goes a mile a minute. Take Care & Creative Blessings!
Questions about the course 🙋🏽♀️ so when you say you have unlimited access can one do the live video and boot camp over and over 2 ? Like I know this quarter if I signed up I may not make them but I also want to start instead of just waiting another 90 days but can one just do the group stuff and live videos any time they are running? Or just the fist time? Can order members join the live videos each time or watch the playbacks? Thanks 🙏🏽
Great question! Yes, you can do the live video kick off and all the main course videos anytime! When you first join, the 7 days of videos will be "locked" so they will unlock for new students on a daily basis for 7 days. Once the full course is unlocked, you can go at your own pace or revisit the lessons at any time. When we have a new "live" round starting, you can join in on the livestreams, get the emails to go through the plan with us, etc. If I ever update the videos or the course, you get free access to all updates. The only thing that doesn't come with the future rounds is the printable planner. You get a free download for the quarter you join and then you can either just continue to use that one and redate it, buy the undated planner to use over and over, or just buy the new quarter when it comes out in the future. L:et me know if you have any other questions!
I think overplanning is more than IK. I think we should overplan, otherwise we don't get as much done once we achieve our goal. By stretching ourselves, knowing that it's ok to do so, we actually get more done==as long as we don't overwhelm ourselves. That's the key. Don't overwhelm yourself with unreachable goals. And what we don't get done this quarter, we can take into next quarter OR decide whether we need to do it at all.
Thank you for sharing. Nice to know you are in the DFW area. Maybe some of your wisdom will rub off on me. I'm 70 yo and just started writing. LOL Why not?
Betty Neels (my all time favourite romance author) wrote her first book at the age of 68. And wrote 132 novels! That is not a typo, she was an amazing lady. May you find joy in following your dream!

Wow this means so much to me!!
@@HeartBreathings 💕💕 Feel free to use any part of that as a testimonial if you want!!
Wow, thank you for this. I always felt like I didn’t know what to do.
Now I see the point of weekly planning. Ahhhh. I’ll try that!
So excited for the next round of Bootcamp - next weekend will be all about decluttering my office and gathering my stationery supplies ❤️

What a great video! Thank you for sharing all the details in a fluid way. It helps to really picture the entire process.
Looks like a great setup! I wish that would work for me. As one with rebel tendencies, I would rebel against myself and not do all those things.
It's really all about just finding what works for you since we are all different!

I'll share a lot of tips on that in the next part for sure!
I think this is the most effective way I've seen a Kanban board used! Thank you for sharing!
Oh I love this!!!!
Love the music🎉
Great idea of breaking it into episodes 👏
Did you make your Kanban boards? If so, where did you find the frames/backgrounds? They're very striking!

Thank you so much for sharing this. I've been looking forward to it since you sent out the email! ❤

Very informative video. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. 🎉👍 🗓
I loved this video. Where did you get your sticker sleeves? I really like your board setup too. Even for lesson planning. Thank you!

Love seeing this process. Will you link the markers used that match your goals, please?

I dream of being this organized someday. My hyperactive mind will not allow it.

Love that calculator!!! Where is it from?
Amazon! It's a mechanical calculator so it's really nice and clicky!

@@gray_mara Oh WOW. Thanks for sharing that inspiring information. It made my day.
What does HB mean? Is it an acronym?
WAIT! I have been thinking on this question for days and the second I wrote it I thought HEART BREATHING! lol
Haha yes!!
