- Welcome to the Cozy Hospital! You are here today because you need to have an emergency appendectomy, due to acute appendicitis. The anesthesiologist and scrub nurse will get you hooked up to the monitor and ready for surgery, before the anesthesiologist puts a mask on you and counts you down to sleep. Then your surgeon will perform the appendectomy. After your surgery, you will wake up and the recovery nurse will be there to take care of you.

What is ASMR? ASMR is a tingling sensation often felt on the scalp, neck, shoulders and back, although you may feel tingles in other places as well! ASMR is triggered by different types of stimuli. It can be personal attention, gentle touch, hand movements, crinkling, tapping sounds... there are lots of different types of ASMR triggers and everyone is different when it comes to what triggers their ASMR! Your videos have conditioned me to fall asleep in hospitals because I watch them so much! I fell asleep with just the anti-anxiety meds at my recent operation. Didn’t even make it to the anesthesia, just knocked right out in the starting room after getting my IV port and woke up 6 hours later when everything was already done. 10/10 experience.
I don't wanna fal asleep, you worked so hard for this!! Chellsie's appearance is always so soothing and that tiny monitor showing the surgery!! wow!!!

this is going to sound weird but LET ME EXPLAIN! i often listen to the surgery asmr roleplays because they remind me of when i had a few surgeries. i know surgeries are like 'oH nO tHaTs NoT gOoD tHeYrE rEaLLy UnCoMfOrTaBLe..' well- yeah but i love them for one reason and one reason only. the staff are so comforting. so the reason why i love these roleplays is because it gives me the same comfort i had whenever i had a surgery done. you two make me feel cozy whenever i fall asleep and im really happy about that :D

In 2019 I had to go see my doctor as I was having some tummy aches, and she told me to go to the hospital and get a CT Scan since she suspected I might've had appendicitis. Thank Gallium I didn't have appendicitis after waiting for the CT Scan and its results, thus allowing me to leave the hospital and finally eat. Now I know if I do have appendicitis and it's not a false alarm, this video might prepare me for what to expect. 😀

I know I've said this before but omg i soooo wish you were my nurse/anesthesiologist when i had my appendectomy a couple months ago. If you were there i could 10000% guaruntee i wouldnt have had any panic attacks. Your voice is so soothing. It was an emergency appendectomy and also my first surgery. My husband couldnt get out of work and i was alone and my anxiety was so bad i had multiple panic attacks. Once they transferred me onto the OR table they administered the mediation through my IV before putting the mask on me because they were afraid it was going to make me panic more. The last thing i remember i was crying and a male nurse squeezing my hand and then everything felt fuzzy and went black. Next thing i know i felt warm all over (from the warming equipment) and heard a faint voice telling me to wake up. I couldnt speak because of the intubation tube and my throst was sore for days. Nobody informed me about this at all and recovery wasnt too bad but the incision areas were definitely tender. They told me i shouldnt pick up my 5 month old son...im a stay at home mom. Needless to say that didnt happen 😅. All is well now and i have 3 scars (the largest being through my bellybutton) and no more appendix.
I've been out under for surgeries before and it's scary 😳 all of em went well luckily ❤

I had an appendectomy (+ hernia repair) when I was 11. What I remember most is they used glue to close the incisions instead of stitches and that drove me nuts! 😅

I've had this experience before at 10 it was a surgery that was in the middle of the night around 3.20-3.40 am if I remember correctly that's when I had my emergency appendectomy- Brandon

For next time using IV line, use BD Insyte Autoguard Catheter for surgery and medication. Our hospital use that company to use it.
