I very much appreciate & applaud your efforts, and I don't live in Kentucky. I live in Maryland. Thank you, for doing what you do, as I like steam. I also like watching the Diesels of today work, but I especially enjoy seeing the steam, of yesteryear. Thank you again.
To see the president of the organization out there on the rail gang is telling about the commitment, dedication and inspiration of the organization. You may not be getting paid but you guys are working like you are! Keep up the professionalism!
I wish I were 20 years younger, I’d be out there with you. Track work is brutally hard labor. It’s a young man’s game for sure. I’m looking forward to seeing your plan come together.
Nice work guys, can't wait to see the shop all done. You guys have got your shit together, laying the ground work for a new "Irondale Alabama". Cheers from the great white north.
nearly all of preserved lines in the UK depend on small groups of dedicated competent groups of folks just like you and boy a lot of fun is /was to be had
2:45 look it’s 587’s boiler hopefully in the next year or the next few months the remaining work will get completed and have 587 steaming again by late 2020 or early 2021 hopefully figures crossed 🤞
Blair Terry that is a boiler and it belongs to Nickel Plate Road H6-o 2-8-2 mikado number 587 which belongs to the Indiana Transportation Museum, now located in logansport Indiana. The engine ran in the late 80s, throughout the 90s, and into the early 2000s when the engine was scheduled to undergo an FRA mandated rebuild

Yes, track work is easy. It's a lot of work too. I loved doing it every day when I was MoW years ago. Keep up the good work. You guys are doing great!

Carl Ferrigno nothing about track work is easy. Even with millions of $$ worth of MOW equipment, a lot of labor is required. Been there done that.
Awesome Fantastic! Great Job on the Progress! It looks Amazing!

I sure Hope 587 Runs Soon!
@@tristanrailproductions same
What happens with 587 and when is all up to ITM.
@@mentalstampede the ITM crew will restore 587 at the Kentucky Steam Heritage Corp (possibly) when they get the funds
I got to see a little bit of the work. I walk them tracks quite a bit
Love your hard work
Awesome!
Do you know what time the move will start on Sunday? Will you try and do some sort of a live feed of the move?
We will have a live tracker on our website. The excursion begins at 9AM.
To hot for me to do that!
Will all the original track be reinstalled? Like the ones that was around the facility
So 2021 b 1958!
How come csx help with 2716 but not 614
614’s owned by Ross Rowland. CSX is only starting to see sense. As evident with 911 and 1776.
Ross doesn’t understand safety. Stockbroker doesn’t mean railroader
10 miles a day man.
At 4:05 is that a steam locomotive boiler?
Blair Terry that does appear to be so

Mistah J you sound winded. Please drink some water. try taking it easy when the track is done. I'm gonna go annoy you elsewhere now.
What about 587 hmm?
Not their engine, it's just being stored there. 2716 is the only steamer they have
