I would absolutely give it a 10 you were so creative. I learned how to sew in high school but I am now 58 years old and I am not as confident as you are, but I will try to make this romper for my granddaughters just something to play around the house on a hot summer day you did a fantastic job.
I love using thrifted bed sheets. I haven't thought to look at table cloths so much though. And yes, wrapping paper is perfect for patterns! Love this all!
You are a life saver!! I found the cutest romper pattern but since it was free it had no instructions, and I have almost zero experience with shorts. Your explanation helped me get over my fear of moving past dresses and skirts!
I've just made two summer dresses from op-shop (thrifted) bed sheets. They're top sheets that look hardly used and, as you say, you can wash the fabric! Waste not, want not.
Your instructions are so clear and helpful. I also feel like i learned how to draft /why shorts are drafted the way they are, when ive never felt that way with other books/drafting sources. Thanks!! 😁
After watching so many YT videos on sewing I finally made my first romper, albeit an ugly one ;) but it’s a learning process. Thanks for this tutorial!
i just followed this tutorial and made a romper for the first time! this was really inspiration!! if you taught how to put in a back zipper to this, it would've been phenomenal!
Could you please add the measurements in your video bio for the extra seam allowance? It looks like the back of the shorts is bigger than the front, which I know you said is needed but how do you know how much is needed?
Hi I'm looking to get myself a sewing machine to try sewing basic stuff. Beginner sewer. I'm thinking of the Singer M1000 since it's more towards my budget and am not sure how serious or long term this new hobby will be. Have you tried this one or recommend it?
Thrifted cloth is the best - price wise and if you mess up, you're not wasting a bunch of money. Great tutorial and guide. Thank you!

I LOVE shorts with pockets and I got some bedsheets that my aunt had packed away for some yrs now, I think I will try making shorts ❤❤
Such a good idea to find fabric on thrift store! Plus, most table cloth are very easy to get stains off!

You inspired me to learn and surprise my wife with a dress. I'm serious too. lol You are making this look way easier than it is, I'm sure. :)
How did it go? Did she like it?
I am making shorts out a bed sheet because of this video :) You are fun to watch and such a delight. Please continue to make videos!

Excellent tutorial! Thank you!
That is beautiful! I give you a 10!
This is so great.. thank you .. do you not need to overclock the inside seams? My mother in law always told me to do that?
Such a great pattern..
OMG, amazing, I'm 5f 1" so excited to see this one!! Oh, I have the same machine but your S is blue I have the green.
So am I the only on confused as to how you put thus on with a side zipper? Maybe I'm a little slow 🤷🏾♀️
GREAT video by the way! And I LOVE your hair!
Tres Bien.
How many people have LOTS of old bed sheets squirreled away? (for the squirrels or mice to nest in). If you blow it, nothing lost!
