Foolish Baliey has an amazing 2013 to current date re-sim series on OOTP Baseball. he is super in depth and with your love of stats i know you'd enjoy it. 2hour long + episodes!
first down markers are setup like when i use to play in the street growing up. Ok, front hubcap on the blue car will be one first down, back tire on the pick up truck is another first down, then manhole cover is the last first down. we will make and Eddie and Timmy's driveways are the end zone. That's how this game is setup, kind of like a backyard football with landmarks as first down.
It helps to utilize motion, particularly on run plays. If you’re running to the left, motion the receiver on that side to the right. If his man goes with him, that’s like an auto pancake block. If his man stays, they’re playing zone and you can possibly bring the receiver from the other side as an extra blocker. Every advantage helps when playing the late-game teams
As I'm watching you play against the Colts, when not succeeding short passes. Got to adapt to different wide receivers/running backs. Seen the difficulty that you're not succeeding touchdowns or first downs. I once said, control your defensive line. On defense, then switch at the right moment, to either tackle your opponent or intercept the ball. Also, you have to understand/figure out. which player in your team has the best running power to push off your opponent. When running plays When playing this game you got to think fantasy. Also, play football on the street level
After my Braves won the WS, I am back into baseball. I used to play OOTP years ago, but fell out of love with the sport for a long time. I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the game.
The Bigs career mode is completely structured, not really playing games but completing required objectives, the Legend challenges are extremely fun tho
The best sim sports game imo is Football Manager (soccer) probably way outside of the interests of your typical viewer but it already has a good community on youtube. Might be worth a look, I know I'd enjoy seeing you try it even for an episode or two
For baseball game. Have you ever heard of Frank Thomas Bit Hurt Baseball? Seattle Mariners were my favorite team to play with. It's an older game but probably my all time favorite baseball game
I struggled with the rating systems in OOTP and never really got into it. Very menu based and the navigation was kind of slow too. If they had dedicated servers for online I probably would play more but online is ridiculously complicated to set up. That said I did have a good fictional east asian league where I coached Bangkok to a championship in their first year. The ability to use different styles based on historical rules and norms is really cool. Maybe I should dig it back out and see if I can get into it a bit more now that baseball's back.
I think that out of the park baseball could work really well if you take a similar approach with what you've been trying to do with like the rebuild franchises over here (giants). I played a similar style to ootp in fof: the college years and what you'll lack in actual gameplay, you'll gain in stats/tasks. Setting up lineups, scouting, and doing more of the minor league transactions could help make up episodes if need be.
FIRST DOWNS ARE ONLY PARTS OF THE FIELD BECAUSE AS KIDS PLAYING OUTSIDE WE DIDN’T HAVE REAL MARKERS. Sometimes we didn’t even play with first downs, sometimes you had 4 plays to score PERIOD !! Lol
If you're talking his players, NOPE! If you're talking in general, you could max out key ratings for your players. I'm assuming that you're talking about maxing all the ratings; in which case, you'll need a gameshark for that or edit the profile manually via hex editor (good luck with that)!
@@tricdaddy316 you get a limited amount of credits to spend on challenges. Each challenge gives a different reward and costs a different amount of credits. Once you used all the credits, you can’t upgrade anymore. I’m sure if you completed the optimal set of challenges, your team would be pretty stacked in the end and some guys would have 1 or 2 maxed out attributes.
Ah yes, I remember the Colts from this era. Classic Peyton Manning being a shutdown LB stuffing Ricky Williams on the run.

Let's Go Buffalo!!!
RIP Mcnair! he was so GOATed!

That’s exactly how it’s supposed to be in the nfl street games.

I need to look into this
Manning and McNair were co-MVPs in 2003. TN had the better defense though. Those division games were wars.
That Legends matchup is going to be a fun two hour ride I bet.
pa pitch typically is consistent for 2pt conversions, mostly for da receiver who goes from da line to an out route
The Greatest UA-camr EVER💎💎💎💎

If you can ever make time, I would live to see some nfl street 2 gameplay series. Maybe after NCAA road to glory.
As a kid I had the bigs 2 but couldn't play it that much because the disc was all scratched up so I'd love to see gameplay of that now a days
15:17 definitely looked like a forward lateral lol
The comedic timing at 2:04 was beautiful
The Bigs career mode is completely structured, not really playing games but completing required objectives, the Legend challenges are extremely fun tho
Man you might as well and work on NFL Street 2

Be careful with OOTP I got ALL my saves corrupted for no reason… waste of my money on a game that looks so damn awesome. And go M’s!!!
For baseball game. Have you ever heard of Frank Thomas Bit Hurt Baseball? Seattle Mariners were my favorite team to play with. It's an older game but probably my all time favorite baseball game
Bittersweet to see this series wind to a close, easily my favorite since the Broncos franchise
I think for the out of the park game, you should post the edited version and have an unlisted version of the uncut version of each episode
If Reddick didn't have to vault someone he would've caught his own pass 😂😂😂

Get ready for the epic 2 hour long video "why can't I throw the ball against these legends?"
im not ready am i
You should do nfl street 2 or 3 I use play all three and NFL Blitz Pro
Would you consider doing an NCAA baseball dynasty? I think that would be cool to see.
Yes!
I always thought the first downs were certain parts of the field because that's how we played as kids 🤷♂️
With the text based stuff in OOTP, you could easily make it as if the viewers are either helpers or reporters. That way it is different in that aspect
Boy, "Reddick" throws a lot of picks
Not sure if you have NFL blitz but you could do a one off episode I remember having good times with that game
I think the field is generally cut into 3rds or quarters? And that's how they determine where the first down is
You gotta pace your turbo bro
As a mariners fan, I can't wait!!
Did this man just ask why Play Action is considered a trick play?? lmao
I will always be here to represent super mega baseball 3 an it's comeback.
We need a stud FB so we can get a FB road to glory
What is out of the park?
You should do a series in MLB Powerpros
Would be cool if you did a RTG then have them transfer to Toledo
FIRST DOWNS ARE ONLY PARTS OF THE FIELD BECAUSE AS KIDS PLAYING OUTSIDE WE DIDN’T HAVE REAL MARKERS. Sometimes we didn’t even play with first downs, sometimes you had 4 plays to score PERIOD !! Lol
Is it possible to max your players out?

@@SimGunther so this game doesn’t allow you to 100 stat all your players so you can can have an elite team? Even if you complete all the challenges?
