I came up with the bend-and-tap technique myself (Trick No. 1) and I felt chuffed with myself. I don't know if I should be pleased or dismayed that John Mayer did it already...! 😅
It should be called slap harmonics instead of tap harmonics. When you do that, do you turn off all your effects, like delay and reverb? When I leave them on, it sounds very high-pitched.

Im pretty sure it is, i could not remember where he actually does it with hand but i just found it today😅, he does it with leone russel colab, in the beggening with his fingers🤘🤘, but its the same effect to my ears
